I don't restrict any particular food group, just calories. Yes, reducing my overall caloric intake did mean my carbs were reduced (but so was everything else).

I broil or lightly pan fry tilapia COVERED in smoked paprika with a little salt and pepper. Literally cover every side. Delish.

Not really a recipe... but you can buy Panda Express' Kung Pao sauce. It only has 25 calories per 2 Tbsp sauce!!! You could do shrimp or chicken at home. Add whatever veggies you want, and some rice.

I don't like raw veggies either. I go home for lunch, so I sautee zucchini ribbons (made using a peeler). It doesn't take much time and it's filling. I reheat leftover oven roasted veggies too.

I put it on everything too! Just a little bit adds a depth to the flavor of any dish. I put a little in my split pea soup even! I love it on pizza, pasta, eggs, whatever.

I use Genisoy natural unflavored soy protein in the green canister. They have it at my local grocery store (Fred Meyer) in the health food/supplement area. It is a bit chalky.
