Do not feel bad! I have issues doing 'crunchy frog' because my butt is gone! I have no padding on my tail bone...I have to have a pillow below me while doing it. Maybe you should also try a pillow.

Don't worry about catching up. It's all about doing it at your own pace. Some are biking, some a swimming, some a running. You do what you feel comfortable doing. I run and walk or hike....all my favorite things. My mileage would be crazy if I biked, lol. Just have fun.

Always! If I burn 500 cals and I am supposed to eat 1400...I would be well under the 1200 cal minimum. My body would start eating itself after a month or so because it would not be getting enough nutrients. It's simple...MFP already has you in a deficit...why create a bigger one and have your body not function properly?

My daughter and I go to the park weekly for at least an hour. She plays outside with the dogs and will join me in doing yoga. As for diet...we eat fairly clean and junk food is a special treat. I've lucked out in having a kid that loves salads, all fruits, whole grains, and prefers water over soda.

I love it hot but it's really bad for your skin...it dries out and becomes flaky if hot baths are taken too often. I tend to also take a ton of ice baths after a really tough long run, lol. For pure enjoyment...fairly hot with salts, some Vivaldi playing in the background, and a good book.
