  • Once a week, I think any more is discouraging (you go up and down throughout the week) and any less is demotivating. I want to know that the scale is doing something!! :)
  • It snowed overnight, my mother parked her car behind mine, blocking me in, and took a taxi to work. Problem? She took her car keys with her so I am completely car-less and couldn't go to my gym and take my favorite class! NSV: I hopped on the treadmill. I haven't used that thing in years! I didn't walk for too long but I…
  • Ladies, we all have these goals, let's not just say it, let's go out and get it!! We can do it! My goal weight is 147 but have no problem being anywhere between 142-152( a 10 lb range, because I've heard having a goal range is more easily achieved and less likely to have slip ups.
  • All of you can add me! I'm looking for new friends for the new year, I would love for *us* to do it together!!
  • That's been my problem! I like to eat at night... I think it's a good idea to eat smaller portions in the morning this way you have more calories to use in the evening.
  • Allybird, I love Cookies and Cream ANYTHING! I might check it out. I've been using Whole Gains Vanilla Delight. I love it! Although, when I went to my GNC, they said they are no longer carrying it. I am in the market for something new and may try the C&C when I'm out of my Whole Gains.
  • This happened to me this morning. It generally happens the first week when I start restricting calories (1500) again. I don't mind it too much, I just force myself to make sure I definitely eat my 1500. At this point, nothing appetizes me, I'm hoping to use this to my avantage to lose these last few pounds.
  • Whatever works for you is great. Obviously, you've had great success and you should be proud of yourself. Congratulations!
  • ' Yes. I found that if I really, really, really want something, I have to give it to myself, otherwise I binge on other things and then eat what it is I wanted anyway... For example, yesterday I really wanted a Red Velvet cupcake. I couldn't think about anything else. I got it and ate it for dinner. It was well within my…
  • Hi Amber! Sorry I don't have any tips on PCOS, but we all definitely have challenges in our lives some more than others. I understand you have long days. I feel like that actually may benefit you in weight loss, especially in terms of food. Since MFP is about keeping track of your calories/macros, it might benefit you to…
  • You'll never know what it really is unless you weigh out your own chicken, oil, sugar, flour, etc.--- basically unless you make it yourself.
  • Isn't it a great feeling to finally find something that works for you! :) Great job!!
  • In like the wind! Start: 165 Current: 165 Goal: 145 I'll be checking in on Thursdays because I'm already part of a Thanksgiving Challenge.
  • Yes, Great Value is excellent (Wal-Mart's brand). I do prefer the Vanilla though. Lots of protein, thick, creamy and delicious. I add some Nature's Valley Protein Granola. It's like dessert!
  • I've been having such a difficult time these past few days with food cravings that tomorrow I'm biting the bullet and ordering a pizza. Hopefully that can get pizza off of my mind. I find that if I don't eat what I want, I end up eating random foods to fill that "void", then just end up eating the food I want anyway. I…
  • Sunday mornings, but I can't help myself and will weigh in every day. But Sundays are the days I record. It helps me start my week right.
  • Log in and weigh in again next week,
  • At one point in 2011, I was 252. I'm down to 158. Looking to lose another 13 lbs. I am amazed at those who have lost 100+ pounds and *kept it off*. It can be easy to put weight back on.
  • I' definitely down for this! I won't weigh till August 3rd (I weigh in on Sundays). Tomorrow will be my last weigh in. I need to focus on doing what's right and damn the scale!!

  • I am "overweight" now with a BMI (psh) of 26 but at one point was morbidly obese with a BMI of 42. I've lost a total of ~98 lbs. Half through a paid prepared food program (which was basically just counting calories) and half of that weight I lost here. I would love to encourage any and everyone, because sincerely, I do…
  • Double Post. Let's do this guys!!!:drinker:

  • I don't know, but I heard they are actually in litigation for the fiber issue. There were reports that they were over reporting their fiber count, but a consumer advocate group reported that the amt of fiber is actually correct. It only increased the calories by 30 something, so they'd be 200 calories instead of 170. Still…
  • I WANT to eat more than one a day, but I'm trying to *only* eat them when I don't have time for lunch. I kill the Cookies and Cream one... I bought a box of that and a box of the Variety Pack. They sent me a free C&C. Dear God, they are so good.
  • Good luck Sarah! You should be able to lose the weight on this site just by staying at your calorie goal. When I first started, I ate whatever I wanted... as long as it was in my calorie goal, so for example, I ate fast foods and desserts. Unfortunately they would take up around half of my days calories. The good thing is…
  • I have the Polar FT60. It cost me about 150$ HR Monitor, Calorie Burn Counter and Fitness Tracker. It also tells time if you're into that. They have a few varieties if you want to check out their website. I have the black one and wear it daily. No complaints!
  • I will be going to a Chinese Buffet. Yes, I know.... a food reward. That's what I say now but we will see... I am about 17 lbs away from my goal.
