I don't think you should cut out any food, after all this is a lifestyle change and I don't imagine you would want to cit it out forever.. Just work it into your calorie allowance. Wholemeal is the best option for pasta, but I know some people don't like it.. Sainsburys have a whole and white variety which could be a good…

Mine is private. This is a very personal journey, and I log everything - after all why not? If I leave things out because they are 'bad' then the only person I am cheating is myself. I am quite capable of reviewing each day and learning from my mistakes. So long as my general weight loss trends are downwards I am happy.

Weekends are my problem too. I log everything and don't beat myself up over how many calories I have gone over!! Over time I am finding myself trying to be more active at the weekends to give me more calories to play with. Takeouts are slowly moving towards a monthly treat rather than every weekend. Well I lost 1lb at weigh in this week. I worked really hard, and hope that this is the start of me getting back on track again. Haven't had that much success so far this year. Good luck for March everyone.

I have a couple of suggestions which may help. Make sure you are drinking plenty of fluids. Personally I find it harder to remember to drink water etc in the winter when its cold, but we still need lots of fluid to stay hydrated. The other suggestion is to mix up your meals. It does happen that the body takes a few weeks to adjust to a new eating plan - even if you have been eating healthily anyway. It could even be that you are doing a little more exercise. I would give it a few more weeks and see what happens. Hopefully you will have a good loss next week. Stick with it!

Didn't have a very good weekend, and have been a bit lax on the exercise. I have still managed to lose 1/2 a pound. Pleased with that.

OMG! I have only been away for 10 days, and so many posts - I will never catch up. We had a fabulous holiday in Lanzarotte (Canary Islands). It was warm and sunny, and we did lots every day. I have gained 1lb, but I am not disheartened. I was is away on holiday last week and was more relaxed in my food choices. It could have been so much worse!
