I've just started a 10% dietbet - looking forward to the extra "carrot" to keep me motivated. Usually I'm a "stick" kind of girl & beat myself up for not staying on my plan. So this approach is a switch for me. And now I feel like I've committed to staying in the zone through June.

If you're lucky enough to have an Asian or other ethnic market in town, veggies there are usually less expensive. And you can get some cool new veggies to try that you'll never see in the chain groceries. Some markets also have fish & various meats. And the spices...oh, the spices! So much fun! :-)

That my favorite restaurant salad, which I'd choose over a burger to be "healthy", actually had MORE calories than the burger AND fries! Yikes! I've become a pre-logger. Only way to make sure I stay on track.

Pants that didn't fit now do. Pants that used to fit now need a belt to stay up. I can go up and down the stairs in my home without wheezing. I can put on socks standing up. I can't wait to see what changes the next 30 days bring!
