dairy and I are not friends anymore. as I have gotten older the dairy products have caused issues with my stomach- painful ones no cheese no yougurt etc... not unless I want to spend the day bent over with cramps!

www.vegweb.com has some good recipes but you have to watch the cals - some of the recipes there are great and good for you - while others are just fat fests

I am also on a budget! and watching cals, I make a meal plan for the week and write up a shopping list from that. I try to stay away from packaged foods ( like hamburger helper, canned soups, sweetened cereals etc...) back in the early 80s this was called " the beverly hills diet" it went out of fashion because people were getting sick on it. not to mention that the weight just comes back on as soon as you go back to eating regular foods.
