2. Make a mock alternative (cauliflower pizza crust, chicken breast wings, banana and oat cookies, etc...) Although I'd prefer to do: 6. Allow yourself a full portion of the real thing, and to hell with the calories, it's just one day, after all. :laugh:

That's an amazing transformation & so inspiring to see thanks for posting :) I'm also following the mayo clinic diet & find that it is sensible & easier to manage than a lot of the fads out there.

meat dishes are good - chicken or beef, only thing some of us don't like is fish other than that, we're not fussy. as for cuisine again as far as I'm aware no one is fussy with that either. just a little bored with the usual spag bol / stew / etc :) thanks

If you are hitting a wall with weightloss then shake things up never go below 1200 cals. Try eating different foods or smaller portions more often - Shake up your exercise, your body gets used to one kind of exercise, so try somthing different. I followed a 'detox' which was literally just eating & drinking fresh real raw food for one week - smoothies, salads, seeds, nuts, soups, basically a vegan diet - I did lose weight & I felt good for doing it. I like to watch Biggest Loser whilst I'm on my bike, it helps keep me motivated listening to Jillian & the others shouting at people :happy: plus I find it quite inspiring seeing them exercise til they drop too.

If you have been doing the same exercises for the whole time, shake it up a bit & start doing something different, this will shock your body - mix up the exercise so you're not doing the same thing too often & obviously make sure you are eating enough food.…

I drink green tea (natural leaves) as I know that it doesn't have anything added to it.
