  • It's possible you are exercising too much. I had a similar problem. I ate approx. 1300 cals per day and exercised for around an hour a day 6 times a week and lost a couple of pounds over 6 weeks. I felt so frustrated. A year or so after this I read an article somewhere saying that losing weight is 90% diet and exercising…
  • Happy I come across this post. I just ordered myself a weight bench yesterday and picked up my barbell/dumbells tonight, as I don't have time to go to the gym so am training at home. I have spent quite a few hours over the last few days researching lifting for women. Still a bit confuzzled but think I have a rough idea…
  • You look amazing!!! *H*A*P*P*Y* *B*I*R*T*H*D*A*Y*!* to you. You have a lot to celebrate....really well done
  • Hi, Im on Day 20 of Turbo Fire. I use a HRM and log the classes myself as they are not listed. I am following the 20 week schedule so still have 17+ weeks to go but am really enjoying it so plan to see it through to the end. It takes a good few days to get into but its worth it. Have fun and good luck!

  • An interesting question! I thought our liver burned the fat stored in our bodies then we wee'd it out - which is why we should drink lots of water - to flush the toxins out? I heard that somewhere but may be wrong.
  • Very well done! Your before and after pictures show an amazing transformation. You have worked so hard to lose the 50lbs and to complete your half marathon. You should feel so proud of yourself. Ps You were pretty to start with - I hope you realise that now.
  • Hello ladies....thank you for your posts. I am happy to support either of you if you need motivating along the way. Its nice to have someone to chat to who understands how you may be feeling. I see losing this 3 stone as a positive thing and am looking at it as getting healthy. Not a quick fix. Good luck to us.
  • Well done.....very inspiring to those of us at the beginning of our journey.
