Hi Barbara. I'm in pretty much the same boat. Before the holidays I had lost 12 pounds and then put most of it right back on. I stopped logging in to MFP thru December and I need help staying motivated. I need to lose 52 pounds.

Hi there! Try this - Spread all of your fingers out and try pressing your whole hand into the mat, really focusing on the fleshy part of your thumb and the middle part of your hand (palm). Try to equally distribute all of the weight across your hand. This should take some pressure off of your wrists.
