I work on the go from my car for 10 -12 hours per day. I leave the house each morning with a handful of Clif bars, Larabars, Fiber One bars, and various other quick food options. Because my job takes me to several grocery stores each day, I usually pick up Chobani Greek yogurt at one of them as well.

Make sure that you take advantage of the recipe option. My wife and I have favorite dishes that she prepares regularly. Once I've created the recipe, adding it to my diary is quick and simple.

I'm a big fan of Champion C9 gear. Good product and great prices at Target. I have their running shorts with built-in briefs but if I'm wearing other shorts or workout pants I go with their compression boxers. Keeps everything in place and wicks away the excess sweat. When I reach my goal weight I might consider UA but…

My new job has really hampered my ability and opportunity to run but last night I absolutely nailed it. Back in August I ran my first sub 10 minute mile (9:39) in 30 years. That was the time for my warm-up mile last night. I followed that with 8:47 and 8:27 (another PB) on my way to my best ever 5K time. I won't hit my 125…

Snacking is actually good for you. The challenge is to make certain that you are eating healthy snacks.

For my purposes, a heart rate monitor is the essential tool. I don't care about my routine day. I know it's highly active. I have a very physical job so I have my profile set to highly active. What I need to know is the calories I burn when running and other cardio workouts. For this type of information nothing can ever be…

I still haven't ran in any actual races, but I regularly 10K in my daily exercise. One important thing to remember is to start slow. My goal every time I run is to do reverse splits. My best mile time is 8:49 but I usually start my running at about a 10:30 pace. The idea is to keep picking up a little more speed with each…

Mark me down for 125 again. I really should go farther but I need to get back to the gym and some weight work. Getting closer to my goal weight and I really need to start building my upper body a little.
-
I think you're looking great. Especially considering that you're only using body weight exercises. Consider my *kitten* kicked.

Congratulations! I still haven't ran an official race but I'm really looking forward to my shot at earning a new running shirt instead of just buying them every couple of weeks. Been running since July, and it seems that everything I bought then is too big now.
-
Awesome! Nothing beats the feeling of setting new personal records.

Today was a day off from running but tomorrow I'll be doing at least four miles to get to my monthly goal of 125. Anything I run on Sunday will be icing on the cake

Back to back shouldn't be a problem for you. As of June I hadn't ran since 1983. Since July 1st I've covered more than 350 miles including about 29 miles running each of the past 5 days. The important thing is to pay attention to your body. Your knees, ankles, heels, and Achilles will let you know when you need a day off.…

I think I'm averaging every other day now. Before I started working towards a healthier me, it was more like every three or four days.

Thanks. I'm still not fast. This was only my second time running 5K in less than 30 minutes (28:54 is my new PB) but six months ago I would never have considered running five blocks, let alone 5K.

I love it. It is my primary drink. I brew my own at home. They are so many great flavor profiles to choose from. And yes, you really are better off brewing your own. When you brew your own, you control how it is sweetened and you won't get any excess sodium added into your diet.

You need a SPIbelt. Find a good running store or decent sporting goods store. They should have the SPIbelt. It is an adjustable, elastic belt with a zippered, highly expandable pouch. I use one to carry my money, license, and car key when I run. The pouch will actually stretch far enough to hold a can of soda.

It sounds like an IT band issue to me.
