I'm trying out taking a look at my sugar intake. When I first started back in August it was REALLY high, so I just didn't look at it. LOL Now that I'm trying harder to lose the weight, I wanted to take a look at my sugar. I don't really count my fresh fruits and vegetables in my sugar "limit" as I know there's just no…

This looks like a MUCH healthier recipe than my White Chicken Chili. I think I'm gonna steal this!

Definitely a wonderful job on the weight loss! You don't have much hair, so I wouldn't worry too much about. Personally, my husband shaves. Never did it before he met me, so it's purely for my enjoyment.

Moderation, Portion Control, and drink lots of water.

That is to harsh to be considered "friendly". I, being in the snarky mood that I am, would comment on her facebook status, "I still weigh less than you." Of course, that would be considered rude too...but that's the kind of mood I'm in

As others have said, the low sodium soy sause. Also, as long as you're not doing it a lot, on those days just make sure to drink tons of water.

I think so too. Not to mention my doctor is a very skinny woman. I don't think I'm going to PUSH to lose more than 2lbs. Yes it would be great...but no. Two pounds a week would be great in my mind.

I think I'm gonna go with what the majority is saying...in the first few weeks I would've lost more. I definitely hit a plateau for a while, but I also wasn't logging my calories and exorcise. I think my body is getting back in the grind of things.

LOL Yeah, I'm a little excited to go to my annual (ha...not many women will say that) just to see what they say.

Hey there! Will send a friend request...never hurts to have more people to encourage us on our journey's!

You don't have to make two seperate meals. Just watch YOUR portions. Don't add salt/butter onto your foods, skip the gravy, anything you can do to cut out extra calories. As far as the sabotaging food in the house...my aunt says, "When you look at it...see worms. If it all looks like worms you won't want to eat it!"…

Well Hello there! I am in the same boat. I work evenings, and my husband works days...no room for the gym! My life saver this winter has been my Wii. I highly reccomend it if you don't have one. You are braver than me, going outside and shoveling snow. I live in northern Minnesota, so I also know the woe's of winter. I've…

Mine was private...but then I went public! I wanted some feedback and input from others who had been at this for a while, and could give me suggestions to help me along. I find that I am completely honest in what I enter, and that it gives me more of a push to eat better. I have never gotten any criticism...even on the…

Hey there. I care for 3 older men, all with differing levels of Mental Retardation, as well as a host of other issues(one in-particular being psychosis!) So I can definitely relate to those bad days. Rants about interfering relatives?? Oh boy I've got tons! I'll send you a request.

I've got 90+ lbs left to lose, feed free to add me!

That is ridiculous! I've never had that happen, and haven't heard of it, so I'm going to assume it's a rare occurance. Don't let it get you down! I've found many great people on here that are willing to hold me accountable and keep me in line. Stick it out, I really think you'll enjoy it. Friend me if you'd like! (I…

I'm not sure if I reading correctly...you eat your 1200 calories, but then burn 250-500 calories, so that puts you at 700-950 calories. This is definitely NOT eating your 1200 calories. You need to make sure you are hitting that 1200 calories. Aside from that, it takes time. Your body probably just isn't used to all the…

Double posted...dang.

High fiber and high protein...or so others have said. It could be due to TOM as well. I don't know how much water your drinking, but that really helps me. I just read a study too that said people who drank at least 2 glasses of water before a meal, lost more weight than those that didn't. I've been trying to stick to this,…

It really depends on if you want to follow the lowfat or the lowcarb train of thought. In lowfat it's not a huge deal because the sugar is naturally occuring. In low carb you want to keep it low so it doesn't spike your blood sugar. I think as long as most of your sugar is from fruit and veggies you are fine. Don't…

That was my biggest proof that my body was changing... I got a pair of jeans from a friend, that should have fit(according to the size) but couldn't pull them up over my thighs. NOW, they're still a wee-bit tight, but I can actually wear them comfortably for 8+hours! It's such a great feeling. I haven't gotten to the point…

I was curious about this too, and asked a friend of mine who has done weight watcher's in the past. This is what she told me: It really depends on if you want to follow the lowfat or the lowcarb train of thought. In lowfat it's not a huge deal because the sugar is naturally occuring. In low carb you want to keep it low so…

Are you on any type of medication? My mom was just diagnosed with hypothyroidism, her weight loss was at a stand still until she was diagnosed, and medicated. I had my thyroid tested and was low, but not under the limit, so I'm sure I might have to deal with it in the future. If you're really having trouble I would talk to…

When I'm way under on my calories, I try to eat something, or drink some veggie juice, or have a smoothie.

Hey there! I started out at 267, and in 4 months have lost 20lbs(not a whole lot of trying on my part). My goal is to be at the highest, 150. I would like to be lower...but I'll settle for 150 at the moment. Don't want to overwhelm my brain! I will tell you the best things that helped me...cutting out pop(and if I do have…

I'm college AGE, just not a student. I dropped out three times...still don't know what I want to be when I grow up! I'm 23 though(turning 24 this summer)

I actually am the same way. Doesn't matter where I drink, if it's bottled or tap, filtered or non....I don't know what it is. My dad and cousin are the same way though. We could go all day without drinking and be fine. As soon as we start drinking (especially water) we're thirsty all day.

Hey there! I will add you. My son turned a year old in October, but I've just gotten to my pre-prego weight, and actually a little under! (YAY)
