  • I can't really speak for your boyfriend, but since I had my baby (15 months ago) I've wanted NOTHING to do with sex. I've been told it could be my birth control (Mirena IUD) or my hormones still working their way out(which is hard to believe). My husband is a sexaholic(not literally) and would take it every night if he…
  • I need a challenge...so YES! Count me in!
  • Berries
  • Are you anemic? The only time I would really worry about low Iron intake is if your hemoglobin levels are low. Otherwise, don't worry too much. There are also TONS more foods with iron in them. Look up "food's high in iron". Some that come to mind are cucumbers, broccoli, watermelon, and raisins. As far as supplements go,…
  • 10 Minute Solution, Knock-out body. It seems to be more for beginners, but it's still a nice burn. I'll be watching for responses as I think it's time I invest in a new one as well.
  • I'm not sure what that one is all about. I have the 10 min. solution-knock out body, and it's mostly kickboxing, so that's what I could it as. Sorry I can't be of any help really.
  • I know a few of my MFP friends from another website...lol. But nope, I've never met any of them face to face.
  • My son, my husband, and my future children. Also my mom and brother. They both struggle with weight(as do I) and I don't want it to get any harder than it already is.
  • 1lb a week is not bad at all. And if you lose more/faster, it's even more motivation. I will say though, the first 25lbs for me came off pretty dang easy, we are pretty similar weight wise, but I'm about half a foot shorter.
  • I just use the "Dance" category in the cardio exercise. The best way is to get a heart rate monitor I guess, but until I can get one...that's what I do!
  • I have my husbands birthday, our first anniversary(a week from my birthday), my sons birthday, my 1 year anniversary of really trying to lose the weight, and then Valentines day. I've got roughly 55 weeks to lose 112 lbs. So it's right around 2lbs a week. Yes, it gets tougher as you get lower, so I figure if I reach the…
  • I can't speak for everyone, but, no. It encourages you to eat less, yes, but you still get pleanty of calories throughout the day. I think it's really helpful when you're just starting out to cut downportion sizes. Also, if you eat 5 small meals a day, you're sure to get your calories.
  • I haven't stuck to it so I can't say if you lose weight or not, but I have purposely drank 2 glasses of water before a meal and felt STUFFED before I even ate.
  • I try to plan my meals, but that's mostly for my grocery list(and to make things easier for my husband!).
  • Don't worry about it. It's one day(or even two...) just drink ton's of water, Chinese food can be REALLY high in sodium and you don't want to put on water weight! Try to get a great workout in before they get there. Just be sure to jump right back after they leave.
  • Just Dance 2, Wii Fit Plus, and 10-Minute Solution: Knock-Out Body. I also play the regular Wii Sports, Tennis can be a pretty good work out if you get into it. I'm looking into buying the EA Sports Active, and would LOVE to try Zumba.
  • LOL you're really close! After .8 comes 1, so in a way.... .8 would be 12oz. Although I don't know if it necessarily goes that way.
  • Oh thank GOD! I too had a 10lb 50z baby, 21 1/2 in long...oy!(Looking at him now you'd never gues, he's become my little peanut). I had stretch marksbefore but wow...There's a freekin road map on my belly! Thank's for the boost of hope!:drinker:
  • Way to go!
  • I am, by far, no expert, but I did take a look at your diary, and there seems to be a lot of repeating(I just looked at this last week so not sure if it's different any further back). I've read quite a few people on here say that you have to change things up. Your body gets used to eating the same thing over and over…
  • I took Hydroxycut years ago(I was only 16 or so...bad idea...) it made my heart race SUPER bad, and didn't do anything. I've heard, essentially, the same thing from others "of age" that took it.
  • I too have the baby pooch...and it's 15 months later. Of course, I didn't really start trying to lose it until almost a year later. And I also had a C-section so it's DEAD. I asked the other day about it, and I guess it does go down. I haven't really noticed it going down, but my pants fit better, so it must be doing…
  • I lost my butt. The one thing that I really didn't care if I lost or not...and it's gone(almost).
  • I know it's more than a small success, but in the grand scheme of my weight loss journey, it's one step. And when I say "small" I mean it's small compared to the weight I still need to lose, BUT it is a big accomplishment for me to be able to wear smaller jeans than to have to go out and buy bigger ones.
  • There, I was having some issues posting it, but got it figured out.
  • Completely agree! I've lost more weight since January 1st, paying attention to sodium and sugar, than I lost from August to December NOT paying attention to them. Although I still go over some days, I'm nowhere near the levels I was at before.
  • Try some veggie/tomato juice. It's not HUGE on calories, but if you're really not hungry and concerned with how low you are, try that. Otherwise, if it's not happening ALL the time, I wouldn't worry too much about it. Don't stuff yourself for the sake of calories. As for feeling that way...all the freekin time. If I wanted…
  • I wouldn't worry a whole lot about natural sugars. It is REALLY hard to stay away from them. I would mostly concentrate on keeping away from processed sugars.
  • Honestly...I wouldn't even worry about it. It's one day. Just don't be to upset if you see the scale move up a little the next day. :drinker:
  • This sounsd a lot like what I'm doing. I've been paying so much attention to the calories and nothing else. Today I actually haven't had anything considered "low calorie" or "light"...or even "sugar free", but most days I do have a Lean Pocket or another lo-cal meal. I really need to invest in some yogurt....
