  • Oh my gosh, I would be nuts, LOL. I buy second mostly, but am picky and you definitely want to buy a new carseat. You can not guarantee it has not been in accident. All seats must be replaced after an accident.
  • Brown is normal. Did you have sex and/or orgasm? No need to actually answer, but that can cause that issue too.
  • Around 5 1/2 -6 months usually, a few earlier and few later. It depended on their desire for food, not a timetable. Choking has never been my concern, but babies can gag, that is not choking. Babies are very intelligent. Just do not cut food into tiny or bite sized pieces, give your baby a whole piece of toast, not little…
  • No w/ my twins they were fed jarred and the dreaded infant cereal. W/ my third on just real food, whole, large chunks of food. It is way more simplistic and fits my parenting style as well as IMO, how babies should be eating and learning. There is a lot of info on the net. Here is jut one.http://www.babyledweaning.com/
  • I'm the odd one out. I don't make baby food, buy it or feed it to my babies. I feed them real food, large, soft chunks of fruit, rice, buttered toast, egg yolk, yogurt, berries, cheerios type cereal, etc.
  • Coconut oil works wonders on excema, my ds, Balen has excema severely. You can purchase it in most grocery stores in the baking/oil section. It is solid at room temp, but melts quickly to smooth on w/ your fingers. A pint jar usually runs $8, but I buy it on sale usually for $5.50 when it goes on sale. It is also great for…
  • LOL, only organic coconut oil smells like coconut, most have no smell at all.
  • Rub some coconut oil into it, will works absolute wonders. It sounds like dry skin, but could also be excema, coconut oil will help both.
  • I lost a pound this week, surprised, LOL. We are making Valentine cards today and trying out a new sugar cookie recipe for heart cut out cookies for a party on Monday. Tuesday is our 19th anniversary, dh planned a bunch of things to do including staying overnight at a very old hotel in Santa Fe. I am so excited!
  • Your dental health is related to your overall health. You can have increased redness at the gums, gingivitis, in pregnancy, which can lead can even lead to preterm labor. Also, tooth decay can increase in pregnancy. The dentist can help w/ these these things, but more important than anything is to brush and especially…
  • LOL, I'm just the opposite.
  • When/if you reach week 40 that is the start of the 10th month, so 22 weeks is 5 1/2 months.
  • No sweet potatoes, that is the funniest thing I ever heard!
  • Welcome and congratulations!
  • I was at the same level of intensity when I became pregnant. I continued doing the Shred and other Jillian Michaels and others until 18 weeks when I just couldn't keep up and hurt my sacro iliac joint. I have now been doing a prenatal yoga, Jennifer Wolfe's. It is intense and I just started Summer Sanders dvd yesterday. It…
  • I I love the Goddess 511 for larger busted mamas, no wire, nursing bra w/ loads of support. Another great option is the Bravado nursing tank. I love these! http://www.mothersboutique.com/goddess511.html
  • That is very common, gobbledygook of hospital based birthing classes. I found the same thing 17 years ago when I took a similar type of class w/ y first pregnancy. You might request a refund and go w/ the bradley method, or hypobabies, or birthing w/in classes.
  • Round ligament pain, so annoying! If it is a bad one get onto hands and knees and arch your back into cat pose.
  • I love Annabelle ;)
  • www.safefetus.com to look up any drug
  • If I need extra milk I hand express, I don't respond to a pump. I don't have pump suggestions other than if you plan on pumping often get an electric. You can rent a pump until you are sure you will need it, it isn't something you need right away unless you have a medically compromised baby or a baby w/ a cleft lip and/or…
  • My 4 boys are not circ'ed and if this one shall be a boy he will not either. My dh is circ'ed, but prefers non circ for his boys. It has made no difference to my boys that their dad is and they are not, all penises look different regardless. I see it as a human rights issue. I would never cut my girls so why would I cut my…
  • I forgot to answer this. Dh's family lives in IA, my MIL passed away last June. We are moving for more land, bigger house and rain. We are bringing our cow, Molly, her calf and the girl's horse. We will trailer them ourselves.

  • I have had a front loader, HE type washer for 10 years. I have never used HE detergent. You just need much less of regular detergent. You do not want to see suds, that can cause issues w/ HE's. Start w/ a quarter of what you would normally use. I make my own detergent and have for years, it works great and it a $1 to make…
  • Really? My dh did a henna design on my belly, last pregnancy at the end. It certainly wasn't his idea, but we all had fun. Then we did henna designs on all the girl's feet and the boy's shoulders.
  • Buying in WI, we have not sold our home in NM, we are in now. That would be celebration #2 :)
  • Our 19th anniversary is the 15th so we often celebrate both days together. We will go out most of that day. I pray we are celebrating the close on our farm this year as well.
  • It is very, very cold here. Our water is frozen in the kitchen. Lots and lots of snow. Dear God please send spring along swiftly!
  • A backache can be a sign of something or it just is. If you are not having other UTI symptoms, it probably just is. I have had one all week w/ some illness we all had, that included a backache. Unless other problems present themselves I always assume the least.
