  • Actually, having calculated my protein allowance from what this website says, it's less than MFP!!! Not good.
  • I always go over on my protein too and I tend not to worry about it but perhaps I need to drink more water as previous people have said. Here's a good website to explain how much protein you should have: http://exercise.about.com/cs/nutrition/a/protein_2.htm
  • Just absolutely amazing. I love seeing people's before and after photos. It astounds me how much willpower people have on here and how they push through to get fantastic results. Well done!
  • At the moment, I love Muller fat free lemon Greek yoghurt.
  • I too am starting today with no excuses and have used this tool on and off for a while now. I need to start thinking of it as a lifestyle change rather than a diet. I eat way too many pizzas and drink too much wine and it's got to stop. I don't have much to lose but I got my boyfriend to take 'before' photos yesterday of…
  • What a great way to tell your story! Well done, you have a great attitude and it's very much paying off!!!
  • Great! Lets see how we get on:)
  • Just amazing!!!!!!!!! No wonder you feel fantastic now when you get up in the mornings!
  • Sorry I'm not but wondered if they did a complimentary pass so you can try it out - explain you're thinking of changing to their services and I'm sure they'll give you a few free visits to try and entice you? Or, they might let you just sign up for one month to see what it's like?
  • OMG, such a lovely story! And you are by no means fat now! Amazing result and good for you!
  • Thanks for the advice!, I used to have a set of 5kg chrome weights and found them difficult when doing a workout as I have very little upper body strength. So think the 2kg may perhaps be right for now? Here's hoping I'll manage heavier weights at a later date:)
  • Thanks so much everyone! Think 2kg is the general concensus! I'll go and get some of those today. Excited to start my 30 day shred and couple it with as much clean eating as possible. Going to take my 'before' photos this weekend.
  • I don't think mine will arrive next week (just ordered it on the free 3-5 day delivery). But we'll be starting at roughly the same time so we can compare notes! Good luck!
  • How on earth have I not heard about her?! I'm usually the first to try any fitness craze! This one has passed me by but I'm pleased I've found out about it now! Thanks!
  • Heee, made me laugh:)
  • Fantastic result in such a short space of time! I can't wait for my 30 day shred dvd to come in the post!!! Keep at it and keep updating us with your progress:)
  • I'm veggie, feel free to add me. I'm not filling in my diary right now but look back and you'll see what I've been eating. Starting my diary again from Monday - when I WILL stay on the straight and narrow! I don't really have very imaginative meals though.
  • JESUS FREAKING CHRIST ALMIGHTY!!!!! Sorry for the language but it had to be done. Unbelievable. Just amazing. Well done!
  • Really helpful and rings true for me as I have always had cellulite and think my diet has always been very rich in carbs & salt. That's the pizza lover in me! Helpful reminder that it's not just contributing to my weight but to the dimples in my backside also:(
  • Losing weight won't necessarily get rid of cellulite. I have a lot of very skinny friends with bad cellulite.
  • To build your leg strength up, do some squats each day. When you squat down, hold for as long as you can (your legs will start shaking) before you stand up again. And repeat. Or put your back up against a wall and squat and hold for as long as you can.
  • Wow, you've done amazing! Well done!
  • In terms of recommendations, I can highly recommend MYA for those who are in the UK. I went through them and they have some of the top surgeons and are very informative and inclusive throughout the whole procedure. And I most certainly wouldn't recommend Transform. I went for an appointment there when trying to make my…
  • This is something I tried for a long time prior to getting a boob job and it actually made them look smaller as my shoulders got wider. Might work differently for different people though. Oh and don't take up swimming - you'll get even more flat chested. You never see a swimmer with big bazookas!
  • If you do a search on this website for 'new to running' there are masses of threads with some great advice. I warn you, you'll need to set aside quite a bit of time to read them as there's loads! Good luck!
  • I love my wine far too much! Obviously the saying goes that you drink white with white meat and fish and red with red meat. But I say drink what you like best. When it comes to red wine I like Merlot or Shiraz and for white I like Chardonnay or Pinot Grigio. Stay clear of anything that says it's a 'blend'. These will…
  • Think long and hard about a tummy tuck. It leaves a horrendous huge scar (quite a bit higher than your bikini line) which is a lot more unsightly than an overweight belly. Although it does actually work in the fact that it gives you a VERY flat torso which looks great in tight tops!
  • I had a boob job last year because my boobs had become saggy bags of nothingness due to losing weight and not wearing a good sports bra when working out. It is the best thing I have ever done and let me tell you why. I don't obsess as much about my weight anymore. I don't feel bottom heavy now that I have a bust to even me…
  • I think it's to do with how your body breaks food down. If you eat one or the other and don't combine the two, it gets broken down quicker. I could be wrong but think this is the mentality behind The Slimming World Diet too.
  • This is fantastic!!! You've all given some wonderful easy suggestions and really made me think! Often, I forget about some of the simplest foods that I actually do like - like corn on the cob and banana smoothie. Thanks so much to all of you! I'm going to make a concious effort now. Off to the shops I pop! x
