Hiya, I am very new to clean eating and really want to get inspired. I have been trying to cut out sugar, dairy and hardly eat any processed foods at all. My diary is open please feel free to friend me :)

Hi, would love to make new friends in the UK. I am keen to learn more about clean eating, and I am already very health conscious and generally eat well, mainly organic vegetables and am trying to cut out sugary foods I eat hardly any processed junk now. Feel free to add me! :)

I find a nice coffee is just as satisfying to me as a bar of chocolate or a cake - and way less calories!! I don't go for the latte's or cappucino's tho... also I joined a health club and go swimming then reward myself with a bit of time in the hot tub, plus a sauna and steam which is pure bliss!

Try checking out the "eat more to weigh less" group on here - they advocate losing weight more slowly in order to keep it off long term. There is a lot of evidence that suggests that if you cut your calories too drastically that your metabolism drops to compensate - then when you start to eat normally again your body…

Just sent u a friend request, I feel the same. Was really struggling trying to achieve 1200 cals a day and was always going over. I'm really happy to have found this group. I believe in losing weight sensibly, and slowly, with support.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I am sure I am not starving myself! I feel pretty full most days, I'm just active and have been doing lots of walking and yoga. I also always drink lots of water. But I am going to start weighing myself once a fortnight in the morning rather than the evening, and am just going to keep trying…

Thanks for your reply - I did wonder if it was muscle I was gaining, I have not been 100% on track but my average calorie intake has been around 1600 a day, plus lots of exercise. Thanks for the tip tho - I will in future try to remember to weigh myself in the morning!
