Don't eat so clean. It's not hard to eat more calories, you just can't eat low calorie everything. An ounce of cheese, a tablespoon of olive oil, and a handful of nuts will get you over 1000 calories with no difficulty.

How are you supposed to know how much you're really eating if you don't weigh and measure? Does guessing really work for people?

Sure some people have a higher metabolism than others but not so much that they cannot gain weight. If you're sure you are logging your food and exercise accurately and consistently and you aren't gaining then you will just need to up your calories some, that's all. Go for it if it appeals to you. They call it insanity for good reason though, it's really tough even for people in great shape but don't let that discourage you. Do as much of each workout as you can until you can get through the whole workout.

You should still do a lot of core work. Trainer guy says it wont reduce the girth of your midsection but it will approve the appearance of it as your posture gets better and all those muscles get stronger. If you're going to start lifting, and you should IMO, a strong core is very important.

You do not have to take anti depression medication for the rest of your life. If your doctor told you that you need to find a new doctor. You should be working with a therapist on your issues with the goal of getting off the medication. People accomplish this every single day and so can you!
