When I go to the gym I mostly take classes just to have fun and supplement my more "serious" workouts (which I do outside the gym)...I take zumba, body combat, a couple of core/abs/back strenghtening classes....and sometimes sh'bam.

I haven't lost "alot" of weight... but I am definately getting hit on more now :smokin:

Nessiechickie has some good advice. Something that helps me is to eat as slow as I can stand it- and a lot of the time Ifind I am just bored or have the munchies when I feel this way

I am reading "Better Runs: 25 Years' Worth of Lessons for Running Faster and Farther" by Joe Henderson. He highlights some of Galloway's method, some of his own, and some other accomplished runners' methods. There is actually a forward by Galloway. It was written in the mid-90's, but (I hope!) a lot of what he wrote still…

I work out because I want to be bad a** and be able lift other normal-sized adults over my head. Also, I work out for sexy looking muscles.

I absolutely LOVE my fitbit and find it worth the money. One warning, though- I had the first model and a couple of weeks ago I broke it when I sweat too hard while wearing it. I had the same fear..in my Zumba class, though, there are ALL shapes and sizes and ALL fitness levels. I thought I would be embarrassed as the only one huffing and puffing in the corner after 20 minutes of my first class, but it was not like that at all...I was able to keep up my first class with just a few short breaks…
