Congratulations from the bottom of my heart! It was reading inspirational stories like this on MFP that encouraged me to try it out! I hope to be where you are very soon hopefully the new year! I started at 251 lbs, I'm 5'9", and I was a size 20. I have now gotten down to 194 and am a size 14 on bottom, 12 on top. My goal weight is 150 (44 more lbs) and I hope to be a healthy size 8 or 10.

I don't drink anything at all except water---literally---and I still retain tons of water weight for the 2 weeks before the time of the month. But then right after, I lose a lot of weight. I have had a very strange weight loss pattern so far. I will lose on average 1 lb a week, maybe 2. But --often, I go two weeks without losing any weight at all. Then the next week I lose 5 lbs. If you have stairs, walk up and down for as many flights as you can! If no stairs, go to youtube, there are SO many aerobics/ workout videos. Someone mentioned Jillian Michaels--her 30 day shred level one is totally free online at youtube, it's about 25 minutes and is a GREAT workout that burns a lot of calories!
