As long as you watch your portions, there's no reason you can't have the peanut butter you're used to. I have given up a lot of things since I started MFP, but peanut butter isn't one of them. I've heard that cutting out bread helps some with weight loss, but I didn't do that. I just switched to Sara Lee 100% Whole Wheat bread. It's only 150 calories for 2 slices, so it tastes good and it's not too high on calories.

Pickles. Other than my fiance, pretty7 much everyone I know loves pickles. I can't stand the things. My mom made me drink pickle juice once as punishment for saying a curse word.

I don't hate McDonalds breakfast, but I used to eat their lunch menu so much that I pretty much hate everything on it now except for the salads (which are amazing by the way). But I do try my best to avoid going to McDonalds unless I'm ordering the Southwest Salad with grilled chicken and Southwest dressing. 390 calories…

Today is one of my lower-intensity workout days, so I just did 30 minutes of Crunch: Boot Camp Training. It's such a fun and challenging workout I like to do it as often as possible. :)

I never really overcame any of my fear. But my fear came from a bunch of itty bitty skinny girls laughing at me while I was on the elliptical. I was pretty big compared to them, so I lost my confidence. I did, however, find that I could put in earphones and listen to my music. Then I couldn't hear the snooty girls laughing…

Most people avoided calling me fat either because they were afraid of me or they just didn't want to go there, but I did have one guy in high school come up to me and ask, "Are you pregnant?" When I said no, he said, "Well you look like it." That stung.

I can see how you could feel that way. However, when you put on that little bitty pair of jeans and zip them up I think you'll find you're gonna feel great. :heart:

I'm getting to where I'm not as self-conscious about my belly, but my thighs still jiggle a bit. So when I go out wearing shorts I always think everyone's staring at my thighs.

The best thing you can do is keep up what you're doing. Even if your dad continues to belittle you, if you feel good about your body then his words can't hurt you.

I'm losing weight for myself and for my fiance. He only weighs 135 lbs (he has a REALLY fast metabolism), and I used to weigh 200 lbs. So I looked really huge compared to him. Now that I've lost a bunch of weight I feel much better about wearing tight clothes and going out in public without a baggy shirt on. :happy:

I usually do that once a week. I'll exercise like a mad women and eat very little throughout the day just so I can have three pieces of Pizza Hut pizza for dinner. Doing it every once in a while won't hurt. Just don't make a huge habit of it. :)

You definitely shouldn't maintain just to "shut your husband up". It's your body not his, so if you feel like you need to lose more weight to feel better about your body then do it. As long as it's not interfering with your weight loss it doesn't matter much what you eat. I heard about a man who was on a diet of nothing but twinkies and oreos and he still lost the weight. As long as you keep up with your calories then that jar a week isn't hurting you. :)
