  • Cottage cheese. I can't stand the fat free or lower fat stuff.,
  • Yes. In high school. I fell on it and it kept going and I could actually see my start to appear. I finally (in reality only a few seconds) got up and was able to turn it off. Tore so much skin off my right leg and foot. It took forever to heal as well. I tried to get on one a few times since but I would start to lose my…
  • I could have sworn I posted in this thread before. It must have been another one with a similar topic. My diary is open, anyone can view it or add me. My current calorie goal is 1300, but I usually aim for 1200. When I was exercising more I set it to 1400 but I'm not much for exercise in this heat. I don't skip meals, I…
  • The BSN Dessert powder is so good. I have a very strong sweet tooth and I really like it. I got the chocolate and the whipped vanilla cream and I like the chocolate better because the vanilla is a bit too much vanilla for me. I make it with unsweetened almond milk and sometimes add in PB2 or a tablespoon of malted milk…
  • Some people don't respond well to the generic. Ask your doctor to write the prescription for Synthroid and state "brand only". It's not that expensive.
  • I love this movie! I went through a period growing up where I would watch it every day. And I saw it not that long ago and it is still funny. 8% is a little low though. The other "bad" movie I like is Rat Race (44%). It's really underrated.
  • Make sun tea. I like to use a blend of black tea and flavored teas - orange, raspberry or mint. I make a huge pitcher on the weekends to last during the week. Also sparkling water with lime. But I don't think diet soda is all that bad as long as you aren't drinking gallons of it every day.
  • Try the Ensure or a protein shake (some of them taste pretty good) or a smoothie. Couldn't you also take it at night?
  • How long have you been on it? A lot of times the nausea will fade as your body becomes used to the medicine. Also when are you taking it? When a medicine would upset my stomach my pdoc would tell me first to take it with food and give it time for my body to adjust. If you are really having problems meeting your nutrition…
  • I like the Wasa light rye crackers. They only have 30 calories each and they have 3 grams of fiber. You can top them with pretty much anything. Deli meat, laughing cow cheese, cottage cheese, tuna salads, hummus, peanut butter, chicken salads.
  • You can add me. I'm 33. I'm definitely not a vegan and I try to eat between 1200 and 1400 calories a day. I mix it up sometimes. I am pretty good about logging consistently.
  • Mine is open. I am currently eating 1300 calories because I don't exercise all that often. I've recently been trying to make more of an effort to cook actual meals instead of just finding food that meets the calorie goal. I like the recipes from Cooking Light.
  • Agree with you on Alan Carr. I decided to quit randomly one weekend after smoking for 14 years. I was actually scared to get the book because I had heard about how well it worked and I wasn't 100% sure that I wanted to quit. I would have said that I loved smoking. But it worked and I haven't smoked since finishing the book…
  • Hi. I only have two co-workers that don't update regularly so I would love more friends. I'm 33 - no kids, no husband, no BF :grumble: but I do have a 12 year old shih-tzu. Contrary to my profile picture I do not have an elephant.
  • I eat this a lot: flat out 1T of Philadelphia Garden Veggie cream cheese 2-3 oz of deli meat chicken or turkey cucumber sometimes lettuce or tomato if I have any Woebers jalapeno mustard
  • I looked a bit more into this (I was really curious) and it is a photograph series by the same people that did "Hungry Planet" which showed the weekly diet of families. This article has a few others that weren't included: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/03/28/what-i-eat-around-the-world-in-80-diets_n_5043024.html
  • I wish they would have listed the food. It's hard to tell what the specific foods are in some pictures.
