rest days are as important as training days, if you train you must rest otherwise you will be in danger of overtraining your body and you may not experience the maximum capacity to achieve what you want. IMO

are you dropping in any protein shakes or supplements here that you could use on exercise days to help with calories/recovery/pre workout?

i always have cooked chicken breast and a cooked omelet in the fridge i either cut a slice of that or make a chicken and sweet chili pitta fast and easy

i just find a protein that promotes lean mass, sci mx is decent i get good results when cutting/ getting lean through this, if im bulking then i look at USN Muscle fuel anabolic

protein shake banana oats and a drop of honey for workdays, easy peasy scrambled/poached eggs bit of bacon for the weekends where i can give a bit more care with my cooking

sometimes im sore the next day sometimes i suffer with DOMS for 2/3 days sometimes I dont hurt at all, if your seeing results and not hurting then brilliant is what i say!

much prefer outdoor running for some reason it hurts my shins less being outdoors than inside (post quad break of tib and fib) i had avoided running just for the pain i had but it eases outside

I eat as much as I can as clean as i can, you get used to the calories your putting in your body some days i cant eat back my exercise due to the deficit being massive and the times i trained. whatever happens if she is truly crazy and i mean proper crazy, she will come for you it could be anywhere at anytime with anything and from any direction, but know this she will come and she will come with the thunder be prepared my man, you might want to wear a cup or a bulletproof vest for at least 2 months is my advice.

oatmeal made with boiling water Banana Protein shake This is around 6 - 6.30 as i usually workout or run in the morning. then its something around 9/10 orange and some nuts usually never really between 3 and 8 so have to force myself to eat hope this is helpful
