The cross Trainer will really help. You could also look to buy some DVDs I've got some Davina, Rosemary Conley, Jillian Michaels 30 day shred, and Turbo Jam by Charlene Johnson. I mix them up to give me a varied work out. I'm sure you'll get lots of other ideas - this site is really good for advice. Good luck.

You need to eat all the 1200 calories or your body will think it's in starvation mode. Also how much water are you drinking? And are you keeping an eye on your sodium intake. I'm def. here. Would like to lose 3lb this month, think I can do it (maybe:tongue: ). I've bought yet another DVD to give me a change in routine and I'm now able to run for 30 mins without a break Yeah! Just need to go faster now to make it a 5K.

I use a York HRM. Had it for years and it does the job. Again it's a watch and chest strap - I think i got it from Argos.

Don't know what NMTZ is but I alternate between Jillian (when I need a boost) and Turbo. I findTurbo keeps me going I can do 20 mins or a full 40 depending on how I'm feeling but either way I know I've worked out.

I've done it and yes it does work. You might find sometimes that you have to repeat a week but all in all a great way to train for a 5K. Good luck with yours.

I'm from the UK. Try buying a few DVDs such as 30 day shred, Davina, and Turbo Jam all these give you a really good work out and have short workouts for when you don't have much time.
