Love the names! I can't wait to try a spin class out.

You look awesome! Great commitment!

You're more than welcome to add me! I'm 189 wanting to get down to about 160...

You look great! Can't wait to see the after photo when the during looks this good!

Good advice. I use to run three times a week and do crossfit twice. Now, I lift three times a week, run only on Saturdays, and mix up my workouts on Tuesdays. I run because I can when I couldn't for so long, but I definitely don't love doing it!

I've never been skinny. I was at a healthy weight long enough for my wedding day and that was about it. In my head I'm still quite large, even though I've lost almost 60lbs and look different in the mirror. Sometimes I catch a glimps of myself in the window as I walk by and it surprises me. While I love the fact that I am…

You look fabulous!!

6 Glorious months! Married 6 months later...No, wasn't pregnant. I was 28, he was 34 and we knew what we wanted and what we were looking for. At least, I did. He's stuck with me now! hahaha...Next Jan we'll have been married 9 years.

That belly button looks a little higher!! Great job!

If I am lifting heavy, I make sure I eat 2+ hours before hand. I tend to get sick to my stomach otherwise, especially if it was a large meal.

Just keep talking about MFP in a round about way. "I was on MFP today and a friend of mine...blah blah blah" and maybe she'll get curious enough. Maybe tell her it would be a good place just for support in losing weight. She doesn't necessarily have to log all of her food. Once she's on, she may start liking it enough to…

Dangit...guess I'll need to get rid of my prunes afterall. However, 1 banana a day (breakfast) can't be too bad.

Fire her...40+lbs is nothing to ridicule. You just keep doing what you're doing and find another doctor that seems to truly care about their patients.

For strictly a HRM, Polar has been awesome. I switched to a Garmin (FR60, I think?) so I could also track my runs. It was a bit more expensive, but also allows me to track other items.

Excellent job!

absolutely, congrats on the 10lbs lost! Nothing wrong with having surgery as long as you make lifestyle changes to make them worth while.
-
I'm in too..although it's taken me almost a year to get down the last 30!
-
What an inspiring job! Keep it up!

Yep yep! However, only in my own home/garage!

I've always been very much open with my parents and MIL that we don't want kids. It's my choice and I've asked them to respect that. My mother was a little upset at first (thinking I'd change my mind) but as time has gone on and I've not changed my mind she's come to accept it. I'll be 37 this year and have been telling…

Great job! And, I know the feeling...they just don't seem to move fast enough! Keep at it and you'll have your next NSV of your pants being loose as well.

I think if they want money, they should do the cash dance at the reception and tell people they don't need gifts. More than likely they would get cash from some in the cards. Personally, I'd be a little off put by the request of money instead of gifts, even if it was in a cute poem. That being said, I would probably still…

hahahaha...me too!

It's doable, you just need to make sure you're eating enough to fuel your body. Any cardio, especially running and Insanity, will burn massive amounts of calories. Also, make sure you're not over training. You can use Inansity to supplement, but I wouldn't try to do it as you would without training for a marathon!

I'm a bibliophile! Not much of a gamer though.

So happy for you! I'm waiting for the day I see the 180's too!

Definitely...I deleted my Sparkpeople account mainly because of the excessive amount of email. Plus with MFP, I've met some great/motivating people! Sparkpeople was nice with the videos and articles, but there was so much on the screen my eyes didn't know where to land first! Everyone has different tastes. My brother would…

Definitely the stationary bike is great for foot problems. Simming, rowing, maybe look in to water aerobics. Glad to see you're trying to take control of your health! As for time, you just have to make it work. I am NOT a morning person but make myself get up at 3:45 every morning to workout. If I don't, then I have 20…

Thanks Lea and JChrisman! I'm still 600 cals short of my limit today (high calorie day), so I'm going to have to figure out a healthy way to eat those!

I've mainly seen success with a low carb diet. I was on synthroid at one time, but currently I'm not taking any meds (other than birth control).
