It's tricky. I think that sedentary may be a better fit but why don't you leave it as lightly active and change if you don't lose?

Hello! I'm 5'2" and 179 so a bit bigger. I am losing about 1-1.5 a week on 1480. I eat back about half my exercise calories.

I'm not going to really disagree with others on the point of deliberate weight loss in pregnancy. I would say, however, that the idea that the baby would be hugely in danger if the mother eats a low calorie diet is a little alarmist. I have a friend who couldn't really eat anything for much of her pregnancy (was…

What is a fresh prune? Is that a plum? Anyway I normally have salad pre packed because I am useless and lazy with some protein, normally quorn. I might start getting into wraps though - I love hummus!

Mine last week were - 1179, 1763, 629, 1624, 1342, 1184, 1105 That's a little more zig zaggy than I would like but I have lost this week. I can't manage it any other way. Those are net figures so some of the disparity is exercise.

16lbs will take me down to "just" overweight rather than obese. I would love to get there by Christmas!

I have experienced this as well but not sure I can be any help as I have no idea what to do about it! I get that tight feeling and also a sort of brief stabbing pain in my heel, generally a couple of hours after exercise (even walking if it's an hour or so).

You're completely right and sensible - I'm terrified to do it though. I'm an idiot about this, I really am.

I find this scary though. I need to be under 30 BMI when the Doctor weighs me at my booking in in order to be classed as a low risk/ normal pregnancy. So I am waiting to try to conceive until I am there but how much buffer do I need to leave to be safe? 10lbs maybe? I am about 33 now.

I have mine set to lightly active. I get a negative adjustment from fitbit when I've done fewer than about 5k steps I think. My normal day was less active than I thought actually! I've seen people on here say "oh I cook and clean and look after a child, I'm definitely not sedentary". I don't think that's right to be…

I walk for around an hour a day but nothing high intensity. Maybe I should not worry too much till I've lost a bit more weight.

It doesn't matter - I try to do it around the same time (before breakfast) but there's no real rule to it. I am around 2lbs heavier in the evening than the morning.

Hello. Similar to lots of you. I want to lose another 50lbs or so as a long term thing but want to drop 20 before starting a family. Hoping to be able to start early next year. I've sent some friend requests or please anyone add me if you like! Good luck to everybody
