I recently watched an interview with a Dr. that said there should be warning labels and campaign similar to cigarette warnings - that's how "bad" and addicting certain foods can be. That changed the way I look at certain food - it's addiction in my opinion.

I haven't seen your food log - but you absolutely need to add protein with P90X. Lots of protein! Also you may be gaining muscle mass - if you did measurments, check out your in legs and arms. Stay in there - and don't get discouraged.

Cold turkey was a little too hard for me. I reduced the amount just a smidgeon each time - until I was eating the portions I was supposed to be eating. My trick was to say a little fib. No one wants to hear "I'm sorry, I can't I'm on a diet". Then I get the eye rolls and then even more pushing to eat what they brought in. I say "I'm in a weight-loss contest with my best friend and I weigh in tomorrow - I just gotta beat her." That always works for me.

I think Carrie Underwood is stunning. But I would want to look like Audrey Hepburn. She was stunning from her younger years to her older years. Of course I would want all her fabulous clothes too. If I were a guy, I'd have to look like Jon Hamm!

That's exactly my issue too. For some reason I'm starving right after work - which is 5:00pm. I'm trying to do alternative things to get my mind off of food and stay out of the kitchen until it's truly time to make dinner for the fam. At least you're identifing "trigger" times for eating.
