If having well-defined abs makes you feel beautiful inside and out, go for it. If not, then that works too. I like them both.

Couldn't have said it better myself!!

Great start! Losing weight is a blast but definitely take measurements and track the inches you lose. Sometimes the inches come off faster than the pounds. That may sound weird but when the scale doesn't move as fast as you want it to, the lost inches will keep you motivated. It's so cool when your clothes don't fit and…

Nice!! Congrats and good luck with your next goal. It's just a matter of time.

Thanks folks. I don't know how inspiring it is, but it is satisfying.

Thanks man. I appreciate it.

You're a Donnie fan!!!!! AWESOME!!! :-)

Own a 2011 Infiniti G37x sedan and a 2009 Nissan Versa hatchback but. . . . . I am in the car business so I always drive something new. Current demo is a 2012 Nissan Murano Platinum edition.

Rush and Rush.

Love my Polar FT7!

Same here. I spend a little extra and go for the low fat/low sodium or "lite" brands. Things like Healthy Ones, Lean Generations, etc. But still the sodium is high. Also cheese. . . .I love cheese but I haven't been eating it much. Usually one slice of 2% Land o Lakes white American or low fat Alpine Lace. I have been…

I am in the both camp. Adjusting your diet, watching your calories & what your put into your body, tracking EVERYTHING on MFP is super important. And, you will lose weight. But exercise, no matter what you do, will help you feel better, burn even more calories, and allow you to see results better. Here's the thing, you…

Mine is of my daughter playing in the Pennsylvania state playoffs last year. Put it up in honor of her team getting ready for this year's playoffs. Since they lost I have to put up something new.

I always go with the HRM. Having the strap around your chest measuring your heartrate, to me, is the most accurate.

Agree. This is why I have a carry permit and my SMALL dog is a Rottie mix.
-
I have seen Rush over 30 times. Favorites have been the R-30 Tour in 2004 or the 1978 Tour of The Hemispheres.

The time is there somewhere. Twenty to thirty minutes 3-5 times a week is better than nothing. Go old school. Pushups, crunches, walks with ankle weights, resistance bands, there's a way to work out. Also, log your food. I couldn't believe how much you can learn about your weight just by watching what you eat. Good luck…

I have a Polar FT7. Great so far.

We have a Lab/Akita mix named Lucy & a Rottie/Shepherd mix named Angel. Sweetest big dogs in the world!

I weigh everything. To me, it's the best way to be accurate on portion control.

Wonderful post. Obviously you have such a strong bond with Kevlar. Pets can be such a part of your soul that losing one is like losing a part of you, too. I am sure that once he is out of pain, he'll continue watching over you and your family while enjoying running around and eating more munchkins.

I was diagnosed with Graves Disease a few years ago. After wasting a year trying to regulate my thyroid with meds I opted to go the radioactive route and kill off the sucker. So, meds for the rest of my life. Now, I've been trying to lose weight and get in better shape. Exercise & diet are the best ways. But when I say…

Got an FT7. Really like the features. Does a little more than the FT4. It, too, is comfortable and stores all of your workouts so you can log them when you get home. I got mine on Amazon for $78 from Heart Rate Monitors USA.

Jennifer Love Hewitt. No doubt about it.

Be patient. You didn't get your current body shape overnight so don't expect to change it overnight. Also, NSV are more important than being obsessed with the scale.
-
I just got a Polar FT7. I did a lot of research it does the things I like the best. I especially like that it saves all of your data so you can log it when you get home. It all comes together, chest strap and wrist. I bought mine on Amazon and saved about $40 vs going to D. .icks Sporting Goods.

Agree. The gym I go to has about one bottle and clean rag per machine. How hard is it to spray and wipe?

First off, CONGRATULATIONS for graduating. That's fantastic. You're right, Buca serves "family style" and the big advantage to that is that YOU get to control your portion. I'd head to their website and do a little research on their menu and nutritional values. Then, since you're the guest of honor, suggest foods that you…

anywayS. There is no "S". It's like nails on a chalkboard to me.
