Our friend delivered the Yearly tin of Christmas cookies and sad to say...they are no longer in the tin...(urp)

Diet. Yes, they are both important but you have to start somewhere. For me it was controlling the intake and making better choices. When you start eating better you feel better and when you start feeling better the more you start wanting to do. That's when exercise comes into play.

RA 53 TA 45 (huh?) True MA According to me? Round about 10 at times. LOL

Silly question but how much did you cut down? May sound nosy but open diary would help out with ideas for people to help with. It is a struggle when you don't see much happening with the scales and all. Been there, done that. Don't give up...just keep at it is the best advice I can give with what little I know.

Turkey leaves me blah. Pumpkin pie I love at any time during the year. I just don't get the whole gotta cook all this food thing really. When I was younger it was food, food and more food. Now it's just another day for DH and me. Yes, we do have the MIL over for dinner but I just cook a regular meal. This year is Pork…

It would be a toss up for me. I love the friends I have made here. I really like logging my foods. This site has made a world of difference even with the bugs, glitches and sometimes slow response times. If it was a low enough price and cleaned up a bit a big maybe yes. Then again...been in maintenance for 2 years and…

Cool...Mine was the Hot Pink Barbie convertible. Think it was back in the mid 70's Don't really remember the year.

After 8pm? Too Big!

I started buying the single serving packages in the freezer section or deli area and go with that. Not much help I know, but for me it works. If there is cake or pie in the house...it's gone. (burp)

Yeah, sounds like something I would do. He might have noticed the ring but some, not all, people don't care about things like that.

I was/am part of the few who knew something along this line was going to happen to me and it did. I lost it slowly (2.5 years) exercised and worked out daily. I know under the smaller sized clothes which pry would be even smaller sizes if there was not so much skin hanging around. (no pun intended) I look horrid. I accept…

2nd shifter here. My "day" starts at about 11am, I get breakfast at about 11:30ish or so. Lunch is at about 5. Snacks range from start of shift to about 7pm. Dinner is when I get home at 11pm. I go to sleep at about 2am. It's a wacked up schedule but that's life. All said and done I really believe it helped while losing…

Wow! So very glad you are OK...per say. I know diabetes is a scary thing and can sneak up on you.

Yeah, they got smaller. At my heaviest weight they were a 42G. Now at a 36DD. Mom's side of family has always been well endowed in that area. Granted I like the fact they are smaller and hoping someday to get all the loose skin removed. I look great in a bra but without...not so much. :blushing:

I altered the better ones as I went along. Less expensive then buying all new. Then I donated the rest that I could not alter. Bought "new" ones at thrift stores as I ran out of things to wear. Kept only one pair of my size 36 jeans as a reminder of where I never want to go again. The larger shirts I kept for work so I can…

My last membership was $145 for 6 months. Full service gym. Loved the pool. breakdown to $24 a month...went every day. Moved and nearest full gym is $79 a month. Still looking needless to say. I have equipment for most of my home workouts but really miss the pool and sauna!

I also detest that one! "You make it sound so easy...I could never do that", needs to be smacked up-side the head.

Meds given or just diet for now? Been there done that...I feel your pain...so to speak. I tried the diet but always was going over carb limit set for day. Doc had me on 70 to 100 a DAY. I could do it but was only taking in 600 to 900 calories a day. Not good for me. If you want to talk, be friends that would be fine.

I still think you should have your sugars tested. How many times a day do you eat.
-
Have you had hazelnuts before with no reaction? That's the first question to ask. I am a tweener. I have both problems with high and low sugars. First it was hypoglycemia and that went on for about 5 years...now I am going the other way and am on medication for it. See your doctor asap. This does sound odd. Too many carbs…

Greasy fast food. Seconds and thirds. Late night over snacking. I have one small snack now.

I had a relationship like that. I had a major surgery going into our 8th year and while I was under doctors orders to rest and do basically nothing for a month he would not do anything at all. Really? Lucky for me my BF came and took me home with her so I would not have to deal with his childish behavior and get the rest I…
