  • Yes it was a Dr. Recommendation for my husband. I'm doing a modified version for myself.
  • The diet was recommended for my husband. I have a little problem with my diet but still maintaining. Ten years now.
  • What would be another option?
  • Right now...I wish the snow would stop.
  • I found that having a 5 hour energy shot before the drinking starts, then another when I get up really makes me feel better...Plus scarfing down a breakfast of eggs, bacon, toast and a mess of fried potatoes.
  • One large pizza...loaded with cheese and triple meat, then a half gallon of ice cream with a jar of hot fudge sauce. Now I'm down to three slices of pizza and no ice cream.
  • I started out at your weight. I joined the local aquatic center. Monday, Wednesday and Friday I swam and did the water aerobics. Tuesday and Thursday I did the treadmill and stepper plus the weights. During the week for regular exercise I walked and when I went to the store to shop I parked further away from the entrances.…
  • Same problem here. Went from a 42 H to a 36 D. Pancake city. If all the loose skin was not there I might be about a C. Thank goodness for well made bras! If I ever can save up the money I would like to get it removed and just have a lift done.
  • Lots of freash veggies that are already prepped and ready to grab. Cottage cheese, regular cheese, yogurts, eggs, fruits, hummus, some chocolate, milk. The freezer...chicken, porkchops, some premade dinners, ice cream. .
  • I had a full vitamin panel done. They have a different name for it but it checked everything including minerals. There were several ones I was low on and had almost no D-3. So yes, a visit to the doctor or just a walk in blood test is a very good idea.
  • If you can't find shoes that fit properly perhaps a good orthotic? My podiatrist had to make me a pair to stabilize my feet when walking. It did not matter the style of shoe at all...some of us just have odd feet.
  • Simple enough. Water aerobics and reeky fart bubbles coming to the surface. Dietary changes can do embarrassing things to your guts. Lucky for me there were quite a few people around and I SURE was not going to admit it was me.
  • I work as a welder and yeah, there are more then a few loose guns running about. We have a dress code. No tank tops or cap sleeved shirts, no torn pants, no sweat pants, Jewelry is to be kept to a minimum, no dangly stuff. Tops are not to be revealing. So what happens? We have girls who come in with there "Girls" hanging…
  • Not even at work yet...but sure I will be bored...It Is Monday after all. Just have to wonder what Fun job the PTB's will shove me on tonight. Friday was a disaster...put me on the "box cell" with two newbies and stupid machine kept dying. No progress there.

  • If I was going to France logging would be the least of my concerns! Have fun...enjoy your time with parents and did I mention Have Fun? When I take off there is no computer or apps for me. In fact last Vac. I went on I managed to Lose 5 pounds. Just remember the basics. Don't overstuff yourself. Walk as much as possible.
  • I know it is not an option for everyone but DH and I go fishing every summer at our friends cottage. Their lake is tested yearly for mercury and other nasty stuff. Wide variety of fish in the lake. Bluegill, sunfish, perch, rock bass, specks, small and big mouth bass. Catch them, clean them and freeze them. :)
  • Have you tried taking them in? When I first started losing weight I would put darts in them...then ripped out seams and sewed them back up. When it got to the point that no longer worked I started hitting up the thrift shops.
  • 3 to five pound scale here also. It's worked well for the past 2 years for me. Granted during the Holidays it goes past that...but not by more then another 3-4 pounds. So right now it is back to work for me. :grumble:
  • I knit or crochet when watching TV. Plus learned to eat at kitchen table with no TV on. Now if I could figure out how to read without eating.......:grumble:
  • I did not know how long it had been around. My niece just introduced me to it about 5 months ago. Still, it solved the craving problem for me. :)
  • I get the "No Pudge" mix and it's made with yogurt. Single serve brownie mix and it's 121 calories per serving. So nice to have around for a quick chocolate fix and they are Yummy! You can pick it up most anywhere.
  • So far Kentwood MI has racked up around 9 to 10. so that added in with what we already received is about 2 feet. Still is coming down. I gave up shoveling. Going to fire up snow blower tomorrow morning. I need to get to work and am hoping the roads are fairly decent.
  • Oh, yum! Putting this one in data base. Sounds wonderful, Thanks.
  • That's how I feel too. The other thing would be to keep exercising and ignore overdoing on the sweets.
  • Breakfast for me during the week only because I work 2nd shift and don't have time for big meal during work hours and by the time I get home it's 11 pm so just have a small something normally. Weekends it is Lunch that is the big meal.
  • Same here. No standard traditional food. Just another normal day here. I might make up a batch of chicken soup...
  • If shoveling out the driveway and sidewalks count I got in a solid hour so far today. Did my normal stretch's this morning but walk ways are still snow covered and icy so will wait on that.
  • For me...get everything ready for Christmas day. Which is clean the house, set the table, make the pies and before dinner snacks, prep the roast and finish off with a few glasses of wine about 9 pm or so.
  • I thought this was an ice cream thread...what happened?
