Very cool, mine is now so loose i have to be careful when outdoors or roughhousing with the dog. I believe I read somewhere recently there are inserts you can get to keep the ring tighter if you can't resize

Now that looks great. Going to have to try it with various seasonings for football game day

I bring in almonds, or baby bell cheese, or carrots, brocolli, cauliflower. I work from home so the foods are more available that are dangerous. 1/2 cup of almonds holds me for hours with a couple glasses of water. I'm a veggie junkie as well. Love raw veggies.

Trampled Underfoot by Led Zepplin today. And a great song

When asked how I am today I love to respond with something like "If I was any better I'd be on a beach, reading a book, enjoying an ice cold drink.... and then ask them how they are"

But but it's a miracle drug.. and Dr Oz or someone thinks it's great and it works. Why just two weeks ago my second cousin 12x removed's 3rd cousin's aunt read about someone that lost an ounce in a month using it ... SMH

I make a low carb mac n cheese using cauliflower. It's tasty and a nice side dish.

I'll second the Polar FT7. The chest strap gives the most accurate readings as well. Really like mine, keeps me motivated as I work out.
-
I have the Polar FT7 and it uses a chest strap to record heart rate and report to the watch. I found it more accurate than what MFP generates. Amazon is a good place to check prices.

I measure everything. Love the scale, really shocked me when i thought an ounce was really more like 2 or 3.
-
I should have added that there is a Type 2 diabetes group on MFP as well. You can search for it. Can be a bit slow, but it could be helpful :)

With a compass in the stock :) Don't shoot your eye out kid!

1. Lose 12 more pounds between now and EOY 2. Time with our kids, nothing better as they are grown and on their own 3. Trip to Greece and Rome and Egypt to see the ancient world wonders

I just last week stopped taking Glipizide for a two week test to see if I can stay off it right now. My numbers were excellent, A1C, BP and cholesterol. I only changed this with my endocrinologist's help and guidance. I have a wonderful endo and she's on top of things with my changes. Each person is different in how they…

Awesome success. Bravo.

I get that now and again, about 2x a week typically. I just don't bother overdoing it. If I'm not hungry, I'm not going to eat just to get calories in me. There's usually one day that follows up to these and I want to consume everything in sight.

There are many free programs that you can use to do what you are looking for. I've used GIMP-2. There are free photo collage makers out there as well. A quick google showed http://www.collageitfree.com/ for both Mac and Windows.

If I have a drink, it's normally Vodka or Gin. Diet tonic with the gin and a splash of Rose's lime juice with the vodka

Southpaw here. Finding sports equipment is a pain. Golf clubs, golf glove, baseball mitt. For cooking I use my right hand for handling the pans and do the stirring and such left handed. I agree can openers are the worst.

I use the Polar FT7. Very happy with it. IMO the chest strap is the only way to go to get consistent accurate readings. I'm very happy with my FT7

Looking fantastic and great. What an inspiration for me.

Didn't have trouble in high school. I was in sports and good in academics. Never had the desire or inclination to 'see what they are doing now." Never will attend one.

A new fly-rod and reel ... and hiking boots.

I cannot take metformin, my body just did not acclimate to it over a long period of time (over a year). I moved to Victoza and Glipizide. I'm now trying victoza only under my doctors guidance. Time will tell if my eating and victoza will do it for me. I hope so, I like coming off a med.

Some great bicycle trails in Sparta area.

I've heard those kind of things as well. First off you are quite lovely, intelligent as you have to be to get to med school and your profile photo has you wearing a cool hat. My daughter, a medical doctor, has one similar, but a Badger as she did undergrad at UW Madison. You are doing the right things to make your life…

Having grown up on a dairy farm, ours was non traditional in many ways. However we formed our own traditions that live on to this day, over 50 years later.... Christmas Eve - Spaghetti with the sauce home made and simmered all day. That evening everyone gathers for the meal, and then gift exchange. The last couple of years…

I just started this yesterday as a replacement for oatmeal at breakfast. I'm using almond milk in place of cow's. So one cup almond milk Two scoops of the protein powder 1/2 a banana. I add a touch of the organic peanut butter for some flavor kick

Daily. I record it each Friday. I do a daily check just to keep me focused on my end goals. Helps me to eat properly and to get the exercise I want to get in.
