I do Michelob Ultra Light if I am doing beer. I love Firefly Sweet tea vodka (sugar free) mixed with sugar free lemonade! Taste like southern style sweet tea - Yummy!! Other favorites are the Skinny Girl cocktail series, flavored vodkas mixed with the flavored seltzer waters and last but not least Zing Zang Bloody Marys.…

Geez! After you just described what kind of person he is. Be glad you got rid of him now instead of down the road several years into the marriage. He sounds like a real loser to me. Any guy that won't work and allows his wife to support him and then cheats on her is a piece of **** to me!! Good riddance!!!

Hi Autumn! I am in Louisville (St. Matthews area). Not too far!! I am very close to a Seneca/Cherokee Park and they have a nice walking trail. You could come and walk with me sometime. We could also meet closer to your side of town too. I would mostly be walking on weekends though and maybe a few nights during the week. I…

Ok looking into either getting a fitbit or a BMF. Question is what does BMF do that Fitbit can't? Can you get BMF workouts to upload to MFP or do you just create your own workout and then manually put the numbers in. Just having a hard time deciding which one to get.

When HR people don't know how or just don't want to do their job and then pass it off to you and then take all the credit for it!!! People who don't know how to operate a printer/copier/fax and just stand there dumbfounded until you walk over there and pull the jam out for them!! People who can't seem to talk about…

So glad I found this group as well! I lurked around it a little before finally deciding to try it and must admit I was very skeptical at first but am already starting to see success so I am SOLD!! It is so funny though that when I mention it to other people, they look at me like I have 3 heads (just like Kiki said in her…

This is so inspiring to me! I love that you went down 4 sizes and it barely shows on the scale. One more reason to kick that darn scale to the curb! I sooo love this!!

Great news!! Glad to hear that this is working for so many!! I promised myself I wouldn't weigh myself until end of month but I am so darn curious!

I am using a little bit of both (machines & equipment). I am on a lifting program that my PT put me on. Some of the moves are similar to the NROLFW but I think the bottom line is if you are working hard enough to sweat, pushing your limits and increasing weights when you can. I know when I first started, I don't think I…

Yes, this is day 3 for me as well eating more calories and I can tell a huge difference in my workouts!! I find myself pushing myself harder than I did before. I have not stepped on scale yet and will not until July!

Hi Cami! I am hypothyroid to and have just started this journey myself. You have your macros correct. Just make sure that your carbs are the good kind and you will be ok. I have been eating a fuller calorie load for 3 days now and I have so much more energy and as you know a person with thyroid issues tend to be low energy…

Hi Everyone! My name is Patty! Just joined MFP in April. Started at the suggested 1200 calories (eating back all my exercise calories) and lost 5 lbs but that is it. I am totally stalled and even gained a few back this week. My body loves to weigh 179 for some reason. I have been battling this magic number for years. I…

Bump! Can't wait to try some of these!

Hi! I am 43 and I was also born with congenital hypothyroidism. My thyroid worked long enough to throw off the early tests they give you in the hospital and then it stopped working completely. I was diagnosed about the same time as you. I could not walk very well and my mother told me all I wanted to do was sleep. I was…

Has anyone seen "My 600 pound life?" It is a show on TLC about people who go through surgery and are put on a weight loss plan to lose weight. I am amazed at how much the parentsapouses are at fault in most of these cases. There was one guy whose mom picked up from the hospital after surgery and drove him through the…

THIS! I am so tired of all this PC as well! We have become a society of victims and nobody wants to take responsibility for their own actions! "We are all winners here...here have a participation trophy" SUCKS!!! We are not all winners...some of us are losers. Fact of life. Stop coddling our children! We are raising the…

Top 10 fun things I did as a child of the 70's in Kentucky: 1. Lava couch - definitely 2. skateboarded (the old skinny hard plastic ones) with a rope tied to my friend's bicycle. 3. Climbed trees barefooted 4. Played in the creek and caught salamanders and crawdads 5. participated in a neighborhood talent show for all the…
