I've pushed my workouts from 30 minutes to just under an hour with a great level of intensity!

QFT. Last week I weighed 257 even, this morning I'm at 259. You just have to learn that your body weight is not static. It changes. Take progress pics every 7-14 days, take measurements every 14-21 days. Also get motivated by how you feel versus a number. Are you sleeping better? Do you feel stronger? Are your clothes…

QFT Funny story about the Chik-Fil-A cows, my Graphic Design instructor dated the guy who came up with that campaign.

Try dark chocolate (70% cocoa or more) Banana, apples, oranges, etc. Make a protein shake with almond milk (taste like a milkshake for around 200 calories) Or like others have said, quit dieting and start IIFYM if you can be diligent with filling your numbers.
-
IIFYM rules. Plain and simple.

Good job buddy!

Things are pinching in! You can especially tell in your back.

Congrats! Nothing greater than hearing that you're going down & not up!

Very good read but definitely something that I could never do or would suggest.

Lift some heavier weights. In fact lift some REALLY heavy weights. Say you can curl a 8lb dumbbell for 10-15 reps, try picking up a 12-15lb dumbbell for 2-5 reps for 3 to 4 sets. Increase resistance, increase the time that a muscle is under tension and you can bust through plateaus.

Binging to me is where you know you should be making the healthy choices but are negligent and eat until you over filled. Unless this is planned. I plan a cheat meal / day / eat whatever I want (within reason) every 25-30 days. I really try to plan them on days that I go out to a theme park or know that I will be getting…

Casein Protein. http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/casein-protein-health-benefits.htm Keeps your tank full over night. Basically without going into too much detail casein protein is a slower digesting protein and will not be absorbed as quick as whey protein. So you can make a protein shake (1 scoop of protein - 8oz of water,…

Like TavistockToad said, I mean there are carbs in there from the vegetables just no rice or anything like that? I'd throw in a serving or two of brown rice here and there.

Like everyone else has said, if you have a substantial amount (40-50-60+ pounds) to lose then yes it's okay to see a 5 pound drop here, or a 7 pound drop in a week, mainly do to the fact that it's a lot of water weight and your body is under going drastic changes (diet, exercise, etc).

If you want a Bikini body you will need to start picking up weights to build muscle & tone. http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/berardi12.htm Also, just to forewarn you, 1,200 cal/day might need to be reassessed and pushed up to 1400-1600 if you're going to start heavy strength training just for muscle recovery & growth. If…

About once a week, as long as I feel good and am eating at my deficit plus daily training I know I'm doing something good. Maybe I have more trust in myself rather than the scale? :)

Honestly I could give a **** less what others think of me when I use my phone in public. Then again I rarely ever talk on the phone in public and if it is, it's usually something urgent and or important. If it's vital to my existence, call me. If it's anything else, type it out.

I'm a very big World of Warcraft / Warcraft / Starcraft / Star Wars fan. Maybe one day I'll build a Dwarven Hammer and grow a beard past my chest (only a normal sized bear now) and cosplay a dwarf...even though I may surpass the height requirement. Welcome to the boards!

Good job broheim!

Eat it plain. Mix it with peanut butter. Mix it with maple syrup (all natural stuff I get at the amish food place). Add fruit to it. but seriously...just eat it plain......nommmmmm

Thanks for all the responses! I went ahead & decided to pick up the Polar HRM. I really just want to track my calories & to see if I'm on the zone while training. Thanks everyone! :)

That's what I'm leaning towards, plus it's about 35$ cheaper via Amazon.

Yeah but Kurt Angle is an Olympic gold medal winner. It is also his full time job to perform on TV athletically ;)
