If I eat good food, I'll usually around 600, sometimes 1000. It's only on days I eat out or have something a little more processed that it gets higher. Rarely is it up to 2000, and that's when I have a bad food day. I don't even own salt. I don't like the way it makes things taste.

I love my Mizuno's for running. I've also heard that Newton's are fantastic (from my cousin who runs lots of marathons). The key is to make sure they are the right size. Most people buy shoes too small and too narrow. Find a store that will actually put you on a treadmill, analyze your gait, and fit you with the perfect…

Steps to a bikini body : 1. Get a body. (everyone has one) 2. Put a bikini on. 3. Go to the beach.

I eat too much fruit in the morning... takes up all my sugar for the day.

If you like fish, they have a good ginger soy (?) cod in the frozen section. It's been awhile since I've gotten it (the closest TJs is 4 hrs.).

Aside from water, Naked juice...but I have to watch my calories with that. Zico coconut water. No pop/soda. An occasional glass of wine, less than one a week.

If I know where I'm going, I'll often look online first to see what I should eat. Restaurants will often have more nutritional information there. Also, ask the manager or server. Sometimes places have the information available to customer as their request. Otherwise, I just try to make the best decision on the menu, and I…

I've never gone, but I have heard great things. Like all medical professionals, make sure you find the one that will work with you and listen to you. I work in orthopedics and often refer people with lingering foot injuries to a chiro. I'm not sure I believe that they can cure problems related to organs. But, I think there…

RIght now it's been so long :blushing: that if I was even remotely attracted to the guy and we had a good time....might happen after one date, but usually 3-4 if everything has been going good.

I track calories for sure. I use the Macros are more of a guideline. I try to get my protein higher than what MFP sets...which usually isn't a problem. Fats I try to keep about the same and Carbs lower. As for sugar, if I'm over, I'll look at where those sugars came from before I worry. If it's coming mainly from fresh…

Eat more. I'm 5'10" and 233lbs (down from 260) and I eat about 1500 cals a day. I try to eat good, clean food as much as I can and stay away from processed foods.

Anyone who commits themselves to a 5k or any race is doing better than many people in this world. I hate running, I only run once a week and only for about 1.5 miles...and I have to make myself. But I still sign up for a couple 5ks every summer just to keep myself in check. About a year ago, I signed up for a 5k that was…

It's my "happy meal" I go there when something bad happens or if something really good happens. I have the chicken burrito bowl, black beans, extra fajita veggies, brown rice (if it's an option), lettuce, guac, pico...occasionally cheese and/or sour cream. With limes and green tobasco. Now I want one!!! Luckily the closest…

I use it. I really don't know what is making me lose weight, the catalyst, the many other pills I take, or the change of eating habits. It's doesn't make my stomach upset at all. My friend (who yes, sell Advocare) always takes three before a workout. Sorry, not a real good answer.

When I'm coming down from a sprint to a walk, I'll hold on for a little bit until I catch my breath. It's mostly for balance. I really hate it when people "lift" themselves on the elliptical so they can more their legs back and forth faster. I've got the resistance cranked so high I need my body weight just to move those…

I'm going to test it out on the elliptical sometime this week and compare. For some reason the machines I use at the gym don't pick up my HR monitor's signal. And I just found the watch this weekend.

That's a good tool to have, but doesn't really work well with hiking and I was climbing over rocks, and going up some steep hills.

Thanks everyone. I guess I thought the MFP estimates calculated in my weight, since I do log it. I know my HR monitor does, and I entered in my max HR. I don't think I could eat back that many calories anyway...that like another whole day! But I will feel better about eating a piece of cake at a grad party tonight.

I have one friends who has repeatedly mentioned to me about how they want to loose weight, get healthier, etc. But whenever I mention going biking or a walk, I get "well I really just need today to get things ready for the week." "I have to figure out my food." At a certain point, you can only do much. I am totally…

I've had both, but like my current Timex the best so far. If you get one with lots of functions, the hardest part is remembering how to use each option.

I'm 5'10" with big boobs and a big butt. All my pants have to be longs or extra longs (at LEAST 36" inseam). I have more problem finding pants long enough than wide enough. Apparently if you wear a size 18 or more you must have regular/short legs. 260 was my highest. It was when my size 20 clothes were starting to feel…

I like a grizzly man. A man that is taller than me (at least 6') and not a stick figure. I also am not that attracted to super muscled guys. That's not saying I like a rolly polly guy either. Just someone that can go for a hike in Yosemite, bike 30 miles, swim in a lake :smokin: ...and not be struggling all the time. I…

I have mine set to about 1500 calories, but am often under that...(not including exercise calories). I've just made a few changes to help lower calorie intake. For example, I love pasta, but not I use shirataki noodles (a tofu noodle) and they are only 20 calories a serving. I also don't drink a lot of my calories. I do a…

Right on Lake Superior, lots of hiking and biking trails, trees, camping, wildlife.

Haven't given them up, just switched them around a bit. Whole wheat bread..actually I've been using the whole wheat thin buns for sandwiches. Brown rice or quinoa instead of white rice. I never really ate that many potatoes, but I try to go with sweet potatoes or yam. Though, they all have nutritional qualities. As for…
