I use the RPE. I run with a HRM, but mostly just for calorie reference. If I'm running a longer distance I just try to find a pace and breath that isn't super taxing. If I add sprints, I go all out. I've found that my comfortable HR is high 150s low 160s...sometimes low 170s. But I usually max out in the high 180s. When I…

I love honey. Especially Florida Tupelo.

Smoking and kids (not against kids, just want to be first for awhile) As for unemployed. It depends. If they are actively doing what they can to find a job, going to interviews, taking classes...I'm fine with that. But if they aren't doing anything, complaining that they have no money, live at home and have no plans on…

Interpreter. But after three years of high school French, I realized I was awful at learning a language. I still do dream of one day being bilingual. I have a friend that picks up languages so quickly, makes me jealous.

I flaunt it.

I was at that point for a very long time. I could wear the biggest sized non-plus and the smallest sized plus. But I found that it wasn't so much that there was a gap between sizes...it was more the way the clothes were cut. The non-plus size stuff was cut more slimming (I thought) but I often needed a size up, which would…

Best form and longest duration crow pose.

If I'm running on the treadmill I watch a TV show on my iPad...so I'm listening to something. If I'm trail running, I don't run with anything. A lot of mountain bike trails cross the hiking trail and I need to be aware. Plus, birds and nature. If I'm running on a paved trail, I usually listen to music. But I don't have it…

Like others, I use high fiber wraps, or even just whole wheat wraps. As for pasta, I can't stand the whole wheat stuff. But I do like the Quinoa pasta. It's more expensive (and hard to find where I am) so I eat less. Also, if you can find shirataki noodles. They are decent. I didn't have troulbe finding them a few months…

I do traditional yoga on a regular basis but this video seems to kick my *kitten* every time. I actually find it easier on a harder surface. Part of yoga is feeling the ground, grounding yourself. If you do it on a soft surface your feet are constantly looking for stability...of course this is more for traditional yoga.…

I use it for just about everything. I don't like cow milk...but occasionally have to buy it for certain cooking things. I buy the Silk light original almond milk. It still taste rich to me...but good.

Box of chocolates, bottle of cab, and a bubble bath after work.

I've mostly stopped counting calories now that I only have 10 lbs to go. But about once a week I'll count and measure everything. Sometimes that 1 T of PB...turns into an estimated 2T... Doing it once a week or so, keeps me sane but also keeps me in check.

I've actually had a hard time working out since I quit my gym. The hardest part about going to the gym was actually getting there. Once I was there I was super motivated to put in a good workout, lift stuff, run, bike, whatever. When I first joined I definitely ODed... I burned out because I was going almost every day of…

I think when people wear baggy clothing they look fatter than they actually are. Get a pair of basketball shorts that fit (and stay up) and a sleeveless shirt that is loose, but not down to your knees. And if you are lifting over your head, your stomach shouldn't show. That being said, no one at the gym cares what other…

I like MapMyRun. I use it for running, biking, paddleboarding, and hiking. My friend uses it for horseback riding!

Oranges have been my thing lately. It takes time to peel them...so they aren't a quick snack. I always joke that I'm going to get diabetes from eating too much fruit. I also love apples or bananas with almond butter. But I still crave chocolate.

I try to mix it up. Most of my exercise comes from running, yoga, and TRX. But I also hike a lot in the summer (like HOURS of hiking), trail run, bike, paddleboard, and I recently bought a punch card for the local climbing wall. Summer is a lot easier to stay active. Right now I am running around a small circle in my…

I think the upright uses more core and glut muscles because you aren't leaning on anything. I find the recumbent to be very awkward and not a natural movement. Plus, on an upright, you can add in standing v sitting, go up and down. The only time I ever use a recumbent is if I'm feeling sick.

I like the objective sports, not the subjective. You go down the hill the fastest, you win. You score the most goals, you win. Alpine is my absolute favorite. But I have to cheer on the local boys on the curling team!

M "skinny pants" from college (low rise, size 16) that never really fit and now too big. I never did get to wear them.

Probably 90% (or more) of my exercise has been running, yoga, and TRX.

Kept one pair of pants (my favorite "back then"). The rest (five large garbage bags worth) I let some friends and family go through, the rest I donated. I tried to sell some of the nicer stuff on FB rummage sales, but I couldn't get enough for any of them for it to be worth making arrangements, meeting a stranger, etc. If…
