That's just it, I can't even do body-weight squats without falling backwards. It'd be hilarious if it wasn't so frustrating. I will start trying out the deadlifts and the good mornings next week. What is a good beginning weight for DL's?

This is not true. While the initial start-up cost is high, after about the first month you will be saving significant amounts of money compared to regular cigs.

My job requires exercise and physical activity on a frequent basis. I don't have the luxury of ****ing around for 2 weeks waiting around for a diet to kick in.

And I know a marathon runner who carb loads. What's your point? Anecdote does not equal data. Why should I have to feel like crap in order for a diet to start working properly? My fitness goals involve more than just weight loss, I don't have time for that.

Try doing any sort of endurance exercise without carbs. You wont last long. For those of us who are active, carbs are NOT 'empty' I went low carb for 3 days and felt like *kitten* when I tried to work out. Never again.

You may have better luck with the Fage 2%. Its only 40 or 50 more calories, but I think the flavor difference is worth it. It's less sour and has a creamier texture.

Maybe I'm reading your diary wrong, but it looks like you're not getting much to eat during the day, and then eating one big meal at night. If you want energy at night you need to put more (preferably healthy) food in your tummy during the day.
