I am by no means an "elite" athlete. I weigh 157 pounds and can deadlift 170 and back squat 130.... it's called building muscles in your core. stop bashing something you won't even try and know nothing about. You probably just can't handle a real workout like Crossfit. Enjoy the elliptical and walking on the treadmill for hours at a time. I'll take my 20 minute WOD any day! This if for Health_Gal but I am sure you figured that out.

Crossfit- I can lift more than I ever imagined and am completely addicted to going. Every workout is a challenge in a different way and I never get bored.

Just did my first one last week! Deadlift- 150 Shoulder Press- 47 Back squat- 95 I was doing bootcamp before crossfit, but this is only my second month of WODs.

I'd like to be down to 150 by labor day, but that's 25 pounds that is a lot! So I am going to say lose 15-20.

maybe as circut training? I am doing a bootcamp with a lot of Kettleball excerises and always log it as that.

That excerise does work pretty well. I have terrible shin splints right now. One of the first things I did was get new sneakers, which seemed to help a little. Walking is actually good for them. Also 20 minutes ice, alternating with 20 minutes heat. Finally, I went out and got a foam roller and a lacrosse ball. I use the…

I used to not eat after 8, but if I work out at 7 by the time I am done I am starving. I eat dinner earlier so the food settles before I go. After the workout I eat some protien so a hard boiled egg and a cheese stick or a piece of chicken.

That's my budget too. I can totally eat on $50 a week. Usually, I make a meal plan for every meal of the week before I even go to the store and check the fliers to see if there is anything on sale. Join a Crossfit gym. Best workout ever. Even if you don't stay a member at least learn the moves, no real equipment needed and when the membership runs out, you will be set to do it at home.

you should weigh yourself in the morning and around the same time everyday. Weight fluculates as the day goes on (water weight, etc), and at night is usually when you weigh in at the heaviest.
