Amazing job! You should be so proud! Question: How many calories do you eat, for that one meal you have in the day? Thanks!
-
What you are saying makes sense, 100%. BUT, I've lost and gained a ton of weight over the years, and I am an experienced logger. I have NEVER lost a single lb eating over 1600 calories a day, and rarely even then. And if I want to lose a lb-ish per week, I have to eat under that, and that is with a moderate activity level.…

Don't try to analyze it, recognize it as a success and bask in the great way it makes you feel! You've worked so hard, don't deny yourself this simple pleasure. In other words, don't question it, just be thankful! :)

yahoo!!! Congrats!

I'm back here, been back a month now, after losing 97 lbs and re-gaining it all, plus a bonus 10. I can't believe I let it happen, I really can't, but trying a new strategy of gradual change and loss, adding exercise into the mix instead of just starving myself and living in the here and now, celebrating my successes and…

I have 100lbs to lose, add me if you like!

You can add me! I'm not gonna yell at you, I'm Canadian, I don't think I CAN be rude, but I WILL cheer you on when you accomplish great things, so that's something, right? :)

I think bringing your husband to the Dr. with you to discuss the right weight for you looks-wise and health-wise would be best. That way, emotion is left out of it, and you and he can know what is best for you, and work towards it together. Its fantastic that he is willing to speak up for you, he obviously cares deeply!

No idea really. I know she weighs her food etc, but I don't know how well she sticks to it.

thank you so much, this was very helpful!

Such great insights on this forum, you guys rock!

I've heard of people struggling to get below their "set-point" which I guess is whatever weight you've spent the most time at. When I lost my 97 lbs (re-gained UGH) I blew past my set-point, but in all honesty, I was full-on starving myself, so maybe my body had no bloody choice but to drop weight. I did however have a…

Mine's not loose yet, but with just 11 lbs lost, I can actually WEAR it again, which is a victory for me!

So very well done! Thanks for posting!

thanks everyone, I figured it didn't really matter if I ate breakfast or not, but you know what "they" say and yeah, I don't want to hinder my progress. Also, even if skipping breakfast were "bad" I'd think it is safe to say that a 2000 calorie night binge is somewhat worse!

I'm also a binge eater. Feel free to add me!

WOW! You look amazing and should be so proud!

I can usually keep it to an only somewhat mad level of once per day, but I have been known to weigh myself before bed, in order to anticipate what my morning weigh will look like.......but let's be honest, it is really unnecessary and likely counter productive. Shall we cut it out and weight once a week? We'll do it…

^^ this or you can sit down and make a plan-with him- that works for both of you. My house is a bit like yours. I will do things like have the stir fry they are eating, but omit the rice or make zucchini noodles for my spaghetti and meatballs while they have regular pasta etc.....I hate to make separate meals, and I don't…

In the evenings, when the kids are in bed and I get some down time.

That's a fair point for sure. Not everyone is a food addict like me.

AMAZING! I've been around for a while too. Can't seem to keep it off, but I'm determined to change that. Feel free to add me!

100 lbs to lose for me....for the second time! Feel free to add me!

binge eating.
-
Yeah, we didn't do that in my family. I didn't get fat until college because I was a jock and moved so much I never gained weight, but I ate way more than I needed to. Once I wasn't moving literally ALL the time. I got fat. FAST.

BAHAHAHAHA OMG now THAT is food porn!

Feel free to add me! I have 100 lbs to lose!

Sir, you are truly an inspiration, I shall think of your success when I am feeling down and like I will never reach the finish line!

I agree with the above. I'm a busy mom too, but now that my boys are 5 and 6, I don't have to leave them to be active. I say OK BOYS! Bike Ride! and we all go together and have quality time while being active. Win-win for all of us. You could also do yoga at home with your girls, or something like that. The time you might…

We are the same person! I'm the same weight as you and I am a food addict. I have had the SAME convo with my hubby, that food is an addiction for me, same as smoking is for him. (He's tried to quit, quick for three years and then started back up) I think he finally gets it, but that doesn't help me! Feel free to add me if…
