  • Its automatic when you sign up... I didn't even know how people had open diaries till I searched the website and saw you have to change your settings. Support is great, but if I am staying under my calorie goal that's whats important to me. I don't eat fast food and I don't check other people's diaries. What they eat is…
  • I will add you :) I have close to that to lose as well. Its going to be a journey, but it will be a journey of also discovering how worth it you are. Lets do it :)
  • So a little away from what the OP said, in general I don''t think the BMR is accurate for everyone. I posted something about this last night. If I ate what that told me to eat, I would not lose any weight (2100 calories). I am 5'8, with a large frame and am in the 300's. I only know that because I know my own body, my…
  • they both tell me the same thing. I even tried setting my goal weight lower and it still said 2100...
  • Ya I know the computer can only tell someone so much... it can't account for genetics. Good job on the 100 lbs :) I hope to be there within a year!
  • Thanks for all the feedback. I set mine at Sed for activity level as well, even though I am exercising. I will see how things go.
  • I went there and its telling me the same thing... maybe it is correct. It just seems weird cuz thats honestly not much different than how I was eating before I wanted to make a bigger change. If 2100 was true I wouldn't be where I am :/ In theory anyways.
  • Only advice I would give you is find out ahead of time (if you don't know) if you have sleep apnea. When I was a bit heavier I did and it was super important the first few days after my surgery to have a breathing machine. I could have died because of the anesthesia wearing off, and I have a friend who was found…
  • oh Byshe I feel you on the chairs :/. I recently learned most chairs only hold 250 lbs max (although people tell me im now paranoid) but it terrifies me! Bedroom acrobatics heck yes LOL.
  • Never been to Vegas LOL... jk. Good job though guys! I am just starting. And yes lots of us women love the big thick men! They give great hugs.
  • This is easy! Fit on rides at amusement parks Not be afraid of breaking chairs Shop ANYWHERE Be able to hike up from the waterfalls here without having to stop to catch my breath Not be too big to do other things with weight capacities like zip lines, ride quads, etc!
  • Howdy :) I am tiffani and I am here to keep myself accountable to finally stay on track! I have always made attempts (including surgery) but start to fail and give up. So back on the wagon as they say!
  • I dont know the specific recipe, but I went to a dinner party once where they cooked it then let it marinade with slices of lemon and rosemary. OMG it was so good!!!
  • I thought it was kind of silly. Its important to read labels, thats why they're there! And being a parent, I would hope you would take even more pride in what you feed your kids because you want them to be healthy (and yes I know parents are busy and this isn't always easy). If people advertised the truth, companies would…
  • I have over 100 to go anyone can add me as well :) I joined almost two weeks ago and I love it! (aside from some immature postings in the general forum). There are some cool groups to join too. So far tracking the calories has been the most helpful. I am waiting on a scale to arrive in the mail, but my pants already fit…
  • I love Dove for sensitive skin. :) If I don't use it my arm pits stink and I shower once, sometimes twice a day! Smelly armpits such a sexy thing lol. But really I like Dove, but I think everyone has to see what works for them. Like other people have said, body chemistry is different.
  • I am sorry the ride was rough, but glad it was worth it for you!
  • So that being said... the big girls want some support too! Good to luck everyone. We all start somewhere. I have been here a week and its seems really helpful.
  • LOL this might be what I am doing too right now :P
  • *waves back* I never thought the surgery would be some magical cure... and even before surgery I always worked out and went to the gym and at least made somewhat of an effort. And yes I do still have fluid in my band. Its unfortunate that it doesn't work for so many people. From my experience I am seeing the effort you…
  • Hi Lovely! I feel your pain on the gallbladder and I am sorry you had to go through that. I too lived with the pain for a yr in and out of the ER when I was only 21, its horrible!!!! I am glad they figured out what was wrong with you finally!
  • I have kind of introduced myself on another thread, but here goes an official one :) I actually joined a few days ago because my sister has started on her own weight loss journey and she wanted me to be her friend. I had weight loss surgery almost 3 years ago and haven't lost any weight, but actually gained. I had some…
  • Well that makes me feel a bit better that I am not the only one. Its sad really that people go through it all with no success. But I am happy to say I want to try again. I don't think I would ever have another surgery besides just getting this removed, but who knows.
  • As of late I havent been doing so well with keeping on track, but the first yr or two after surgery I did. I completely changed what I ate. Before I never liked vegetables but I found ways to like them and incorporated them into my diet in place of a lot of carbs. I tried to have some protein at every meal. For awhile I…
  • and I am not saying you don't change habits with surgery... just meant doing it completely without.
  • Happy you're ok now! I know this was like a month ago but I just joined. Did they do a scope before hand to check for ulcers?
  • I got tingly watching nathan fillion and robert downey junior talking about the avengers :/
  • Not quite there, but right below you in Oregon!
  • Everyone's body is different. Personally I am big boned and have always had a lot of muscle and am 5'8. A lot of people might think my goal is high but I want to be around 200 lbs. I remember being very young and 5'4 and about 130 and now that I am older I think I would be great at about a size 14. But some people see that…
