Yes, I am pretty careful with my protein. I have had significant hair loss, so make sure I get enough, take my biotin, etc. Thank you

Thank you. I think I will try the increase in exercise--walking an additional day or two. Patience has never been one of my strong points!

I LOVE that! What a great NSV!!!

Yes, I had a difficult time using my cpap post-op. Had such a hard time, I decided to try to sleep without it. Slept just fine, husband reports ZERO snoring. Should probably have sleep study to confirm the absence of sleep apnea, but I no longer exhibit any symptoms! Hooray to loss of diabetes, sleep apnea and cardiac…

Had mine out 33 years ago while I was pregnant with twins! Before the days of laparoscopic surgery. I was unable to eat much of anything before I had the surgery, so afterward was a relief. Have been able to eat normally since the surgery--my restrictions are fried foods, especially deep fat fried foods and gravy. Good…

Hi- I had RNY 2/28/12. For a while, the bagginess of the previously snug clothing was just such a novel feeling. When I started to go down a few sizes, I visited thrift stores and used ebay. I will continue to do this until I settle on a size. As others have said, the quality of clothing in thrift stores is amazing--who…

What I am eating is primarily protein, I get in around 70 Gm. I am trying to do interval eating, but am still hungry before I eat and am hungry again not long after. How long have you experienced hunger? ( By the way..... Our profiles are similar--started at about the same weight, had my surgery on 2/28 and have had about…

I am 2 months post RNY. My intake has been between 500-800 calories a day and 60-70 Gms. of protein. Although I remember being told the first few months were the "honeymoon" period and people lose lots of weight, my weight loss seems to be 2 lbs per week. Lost 20 pre-op and 25 since surgery.
