I'll admit it...I look at the scale every morning, so I can understand what you are saying. I'll hit some milestone and the next day be a few pounds back over. What works for me is getting up before the rest of the house to get my workouts in. I get up about an hour early three days a week. Then the time doesn't take away from the rest of the family or chores that have to get done.

Allure magazine publishes a monthly list of 'best for" salons (best for long hair, best for curly hair, best for coloring, etc) -- you should be able to search their web site -- though it's mostly metro area salons (SF, NYC, Dallas, Atlanta etc).
