If I don't exercise I eat 1200 calories. If I do exercise and burn, let's say 400 calories, then I will eat 1,600 calories that day. Eat whatever calories you burn so that you are always netting 1,200 calories.

Did you store the bagged lettuce in the back of the fridge? If not, the lettuce could be bad. I have noticed the grocery stores always put the bagged lettuce that is about to expire on sale.

I'm 5'2 and wear a size 10/12 in jeans. I find tons of petite jeans at Ann Taylor Loft, The Limited, and Levis. As soon as the jeans go on sale I stock up on a few pairs in my favorite designs.

I've been taking barre fitness classes and the classes have significantly toned up my body. The classes use light weights and isometrics so you won't bulk up and you'll get long, lean muscles.

Pass. I'm already skipping the flour and sugar. I got to draw the line somewhere. I mostly eat chicken and fish, but I do love pork tenderloin and filet mignon.

Usually I set the heater around 73. I only run it during the night because it gets too hot in the afernoon in Tampa.

Buy new clothes and take tons of pictures to capture the weightloss!

Don't stress about Thanksgiving. Eat whatever you want that day, but be prepared to go back to your usual diet the next day. No picking at leftover pie after Turkey day! You'll gain a couple of lbs. so don't look at the scale for a couple of days, but you'll lose the lbs by the end of the week if you go back to a healthy…

As long as you are getting all your vitamins and you are losing weight why change up the diet? Unless you are bored of your routine it is so much easier to track your calories when you eat similar meals. I tend to eat the same meals every day. For breakfast I have a protein shake or eggs or oatmeal and greek yogurt. For…

I noticed your food diary includes a lot of foods high in carbs, sugar and fat. Instead of just oatmeal and coffee for breakfast try adding a yogurt to the meal or makes a veggie omelette instead for protein and veggies. You aren't eating a lot of calories so you need to eat better food if you want to continue losing…

Teavana Jasmine Dragon Pearls. Expensive, but so tasty!

3 meals and one or two snacks.

Water and foods that are loaded with fiber (beans, brocoli, avocado, edamame, apples, pears, raspberries, almonds, oatmeal, whole wheat pasta).

Baked goods such as bread or fresh baked cookies. I can't stand the stale, pre-packaged garbage. Someone at my office brought in Christmas cookies from a cookie exchange party and I have been eyeing the plate all day. Must.... have... willpower!!!!

Thank goodness I live in an apartment and don't have to buy candy for trick-or-treaters! Some of my non-supportive co-workers will bring in their Halloween leftovers, but I just steer clear of the candy dish at the receptionist desk!

I'm in the middle. The books were entertaining, but poorly written. I mostly read them to see what the fuss was all about. Thank goodness I didn't waste my money on these books and just borrowed a copy.

Spinach, strawberries, feta and walnuts. For salad dressing I just splash some balsamic vinagrette on the salad and a pinch of extra virgin olive oil. My sister isn't even on a diet and she begs me to make this salad all the time! When strawberries are out of season I will swap them for apples or oranges. If you put some…

I'm doing a slow-carb diet. I eat meat, beans, and nuts and also incorporate vegetables and a small amount of dairy and fruit. I initially tried the 4HB diet, but I wasn't getting enough calcium and I was craving something sweet besides the teaspoon of peanut butter I was allowed each day so now I put low-fat milk in my…

It's definitely unfair men can lose weight so quickly! My husband lifts weights at the gym for twenty minutes while I am doing cardio for an hour and we get the same results. If I even look at junk food the weight immediately creeps back on! It gets discouraging, but I remind myself that I really want to reach my goal…

The number may seem daunting, but you seem to have a positive attitude and that will help you immensly during your weightloss journey. Take your measurements as well so you can look at your improvement on weeks that you don't see the scale budge. On the weeks that I lose less weight I try not to get discouraged and I just…

When you skip breakfast your brain is forced to work extra hard in breaking down stored carbohydrates or to turn fats and proteins into usable forms of glucose. Eating breakfast has been proven to improve concentration, increase your problem solving capabilities, enhance overall mental performance and even boosts your…

According to Livestrong.com you can workout with a broken toe (walk, swim, ride a bike, use an elliptical) as long as you are not putting stress on your toe and wear the proper shoes. Here's the link to the full article: http://www.livestrong.com/article/425504-how-to-exercise-with-a-broken-toe/

Kale Chips, carrots and wholey guacamole and wasabi flavored almonds are my go-to healthy salty snacks.

I used to measure everything with my digital scale, but now I can eyeball most of my portions. I now skip the scale with meats and vegetables but if I put shredded cheese or salad dressing in a recipe I always measure. When calories are dense it is easier to go over the portion size!

I can't see your food journal so I am going to assume you are eating too few calories or just the wrong foods. As others mentioned; if you just started a workout routine you may be gaining muscle and should track your measurements. Muscle weighs more than fat! You mentioned in your profile that you have always been able to…

If you are snacking throughout the day you may be going over your daily calorie goal. My meals are usually around 350-400 calories which leaves little room for snacking. I might have enough room in my diet to snack on a Greek yogurt or ten almonds, but after that I have maxed my calorie intake for the day. My advice would…

To force myself to workout I bring my gym bag to work and change into my workout clothes after work. The chances of me working out once I get home are slim to none. Once I am home from work all I want to do is cook dinner and veg out on the couch.

I'm actually doing 30 Day Shred with Jillian Michaels as well along with a Bob Harper workout dvd. So far I have lost 8 lbs. in a month. I do plan on joining LA Fitness next month because my husband offered to pay for my membership, but you totally can lose weight without a fancy gym membership. If you aren't motivated to…

If you feel uncomfortable working out in front of the opposite sex an all women's gym can provide a relaxed atmosphere. I used to work out at an all women's gym so I wouldn't have to worry about putting on make up or cute work out clothes. Recently I joined a co-ed gym because I want to work out with my husband.

I'll blend my protein shake with water and ice if I am watching calories, but to add protein I add 2% milk and/or Greek yogurt. I've tried adding almonds, but the nuts usually settle to the bottom of my smoothie.
