If any of you readers are a Christian like myself, then there would be another reason for being nice, or kind. Coincidentally enough I chose this attribute as the focus for my 5th thru 8th grade girls Sunday School lesson this morning. God instructs us to be kind and treat others as we would want to be treated ourselves.…

Hi I get up at 4:45 to walk, and every other day I am implementing the C25K program into my workout to start running. I love being up and out early, the world is peaceful and quiet. I wish! I have wanted a horse since I was a little girl. This morning I was walking by a barn and heard a horse whinny and it made me long for one of my own again. How different my life as a child and young girl would have been with a horse to love and take care of! Count yourself lucky that you have this wonderful facet…

I walk 4 miles 5-6 days a week and am just beginning to implement C2K5 three days a week. I love walking but to get a good calorie burn I do have to walk quite a ways. I have been enjoying the outdoors all Summer, walking on a treadmill come Winter, I know will not be as much fun.

I think you are lovely, but you know what? It doesn't really matter what I or any one of us think. It only matters what you think of yourself and I love that after such hardship you are blossoming and becoming the real you. It's like the ugly duckling story. You are a beautiful swan, sail on beautiful swan. God Bless.

As a 52 year old woman I am inspired to see what and older woman can accomplish for her body is she persevers. I was actually wondering about this very thing this am as it is Saturday. I have been trying out a new up at 5 am routine all week since I will be returning to work this week. I slept in until six and started out a bit later today, but should I mess with that routine?

I am 52 and a recovering mild stroke survivor. I started MFP in April when my cousin/friend introduced me to it. Today I am so much more fit and strong plus I've lost 24lbs. I recently started C2K5 and there is no turning back now!
