The weather doesn't hurt my diet at all. I might cook more, make soups, etc. Hot tea instead of iced. I'm still eating only healthy foods. Adding sugary or junk food never even entered my mind. I take long hot showers instead of cool ones now though... lol...

I have learned to listen to my body. It has never once told me it is a good idea to workout until I get sick. I push myself to a good point, to better my last workout - most of the time. Some days are not going to be that good & I realize it. There are also times, like when I've had way too little sleep for a few days &…

To run, no. To be able to walk and stand without pain, yes, I might. I'm very sorry you're in pain & that your situation has you needing to consider this. I hope you find a solution that gives you your life bck.

I once followed a specific fitness program that had a nutrition plan calling for 1.5 grams protein per body weight during the fat-burning cycle. There were other specifics to the plan and a weight training along with it. I had great fat-burning results & also had LBM gains. Nothing bad about it. well, other than I was…

While whole eggs are very healthy for us your plan is not a healthy one, OP. I'm pretty sure you already knew it when you posted. There are a few reasons.

I feel like I'm always buying clothes but they keep getting too big!
-
Usually dinner.

I'm having chicken breast and broccoli & cauliflower cooking with coconut oil, onion, and lots of garlic.

I agree, ninerbuff. It is all the thing you listed, and probably more. I work hard at the ones I can control and at how I react to things I have no control over. I work hard at getting enough sleep. That is harder for me than anything else. I do eat mostly whole foods but that is easy because I feel great eating this way.…

I don't have a weight loss goal. I don't care about the scale. I want to look & feel good. The scale has very little to do with those things.
-
The usual; bacon & eggs, a big mug of coffee with stevia, and a tall glass of water.
-
I agree. It is meaningless. No two days are identical in every way.
-
That is what I've been doing. I've gone through a few different sizes of bras & they still look brand new when they are too big.
-
Absolutely agree that MFP has more than the usual number of people offering bad advice. Please do as I suggested & do a Google search on the subject. Look for recent studies rather than discussions on discussion boards. That way you can make an informed decision about what is best for you.

Red meat & chicken are perfectly healthy. It is the quality that makes a difference. Grassfed & pastured, locally grown are best. Healthiest.
-
I've gone through several bra sizes so far. Several more to go. Thank goodness!

I'm not sure how you are eating but a low carb, high fat diet is the way to treat non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. I'm assuming that is what you have. I suggest you do a Google search on the subject of LC & fatty liver.

I did not eat anything I regret today. When I have eaten things I regretted I considered not logging it & then realized that would defeat the purpose. Logging it helps us see what is going on & recognize trends. It is also usually not the disaster we thing it is going to be. If everything is not logged it is a missing…

There is no such thing as a perfect weight. The idea is ridiculous. Look in the mirror, at your clothes, etc. If you see things you would like to change you can work on that but it has to do with body composition, not weight. Weight is just a number on a scale.
-
I don't have a goal weight. I don't care about the scale as it has nothing to do with how I look & feel. I want to look good, be lean, and gain more muscle. My LBM is already higher than many here list as a goal. lol... Ideally, I will be small in size & very heavy.

Both. I enter what I'm planning to have so my food is spread out over the day & I know what I'll be eating. I go through and make sure what I ate is the same as what was planned after the meals & at the end of the day. Sometimes I change what I am having or the amount. For example, tonight my chicken breast weighed less…

I don't "ban" anything. I believe that saying you "can't" eat this or that is asking for trouble. I've trained myself to make very healthy food choices instead. Because I want to be healthy.

Avoiding processed foods and getting plenty of protein & fat works for me, too. I eat 3 meals per day and find no need for snacking.
-
Definitely. I lost a lot of weight previously without working out. Fat loss is mostly about nutritional changes. It is easy to lose weight by diet alone. But if you want to look good you'll want to exercise. Diet is the cake, the base on which everything is built. Exercise is the icing. It makes the cake look good.

I follow my own plan. As far as I know, the way I eat does not quite fit any marketed plan. I don't label it "LC" or "HF" or anything else. I simply eat the foods I know work best for me. It does end up being higher in fat than anything else. I also make sure I get plenty of protein to maintain my LBM as I lose. It is what…

I've been at it a long time so I have had lots of trial & error. I found what works best for me. I don't usually snack so that helps a lot. Getting plenty at meals keeps me full so I'm not tempted by snack foods when they are around. I don't need to eat more or extra or even different on the weekends. I make sure when…

Tall glass of water Tall mug of coffee with a bit of pure stevia extract powder 4 whole eggs, easy over 4 slices bacon, crisp ...followed by more coffee & more water.

I had a lot to lose so it took a large loss before anyone started commenting. It got very annoying waiting for people to notice. lol... At this point I've lost so much, wear smaller clothes (literally all the clothes I wore when I started are too big & have been replaced), and look very different than when I started so…

Many, many years ago I took it for a few months. Gained every single bit back so fast it made my head spin. Can't recommend any weight loss drugs. I highly recommend healthy lifestyle changes to lose fat, feel good and get results that will last. It is so much easier! And healthier.
-
lol... I've been one. Trust me, it is sad but true. But also reassuring, in an admittedly annoying way, when you lift your heaviest ever and don't even get a tiny bit sore.
