It's different on weekends when I have time to "cook" breakkie, but during the work day, it's pretty standard. Today: Egg-Land's Best - Hard-Cooked Peeled Eggs, 1 egg 60 0 1 5 55 0 Ico_delete the Baker - Wheat & Flax Bread, 1 slice 100 18 0 6 105 5 Ico_delete Tribe - Organic Hummus Classic, 2 Tbsp (28 grams) 50 4 0 2 100 1…

I'm 5'1", 33 (34 in May) my total is around 60lbs to lose, struggling through the last 20 or so lbs. Add me if you like. :)

Ditto. I always feel physically terrible after overeating and also after I eat foods that are obviously bad for me, particularly if they are greasy, fried or high-fat dairy - and I used to love all that stuff. >_<

Ahaha. Man. I remembering being waaaay into NKOTB when I was in middle school. >_< (Along with Boys II Men.) I never did see them in concert though. But back to topic, I loooooove live music. The last concert I went to was The Black Keys also (opening with the Arctic Monkeys, who I also enjoy but didn't put on that…

So totally made me giggle, which is a good way to start a work morning. But, I totally get what you're saying. I like to go "heads down" when I workout also. Headphones on, blinders on, focus and go type of deal. When I go to the gym, it's to work out and not be social. (Minus any passing nods and quick hellos during rep…

When I used to work with a personal trainer, he would have me do a cardio warm-up (5-10 mins), do weights, sometimes abs and then finish with cardio (at least 30+ minutes). Now, I prefer to do cardio first (after stretching, heh) because it warms me up and raises my heart rate (I don't like to hit weights cold), then…

Coconut water is a good source of potassium. Vitacoco water has 515mg per serving. Just watch for the ones that are high in sodium since you're hypertensive. (I think Zico is much higher in sodium per serving than Vitacoco and Naked Juice.)

I try to have most of my calories during the day, usually during lunch. I try to keep my smallest (and lowest carb meal) my dinner. I find that when I have a big carb-laden dinner, I feel sluggish afterwards... This usually isn't the case if I have a hearty lunch.

Do what works for you. (Sounds like tiny bits of jealousy to me.) For some people using the term "diet" is not positive, but thinking of things as a "lifestyle change" is. I'm in the lifestyle change boat. I never say I'm on a diet. Just that I'm trying to live healthier, which happens to mean eat less, eat better and move…

I log it if it's not something routine, like some hardcore 2+ hour cleaning binge. Routine cleaning and everyday stuff I don't log. OT: I also log 3+ hour marathon cooking sessions (for special occasions or making stuff for events) when I've been on my feet moving around the entire time. (But not regular every day cooking.)

Ditto on already avoiding most of those, as well as trying to stay away from GMOs. I gave up over-processed foods for Lent (basically if I couldn't pronounce it or tell where it came from without googling it, I didn't eat it), so that helped me kick my *kitten* towards cleaner eating. ^_^

Before I started going the more natural (less process foods) route, I really like Quorn products. Even my BF prefers the breaded patties to actual chicken patties. -laughs- Instead of being derived from soy, they're a product derived from mycoproteins (I think, a fungus much like mushrooms). http://www.quorn.com/ They're…

I'm 5'1" currently 124.5 and trying to eventually get down to 105, but breaking it up into digestible 5lb increments in my head to help keep me motivated. :) Feel free to add me if you want, I could always use extra support!

If I know ahead of time, I try to pre-game it. I either plan to work out extra that day, or I plan to eat very healthy, low carb meals and snacks - but still filling (so protein and fiber filled) so I don't end up starving if it's a going out dinner. I also do what other's have suggested and look up the menu online if it's…

I'm 5'1" and currently 124.5. (164 at my heaviest and 116 at my lightest.) Trying to get to my ultimate goal weight of 105. Add me if you like. :)

Looooove greek yogurt! Not just for breakfast with fruit and other tasty things, but I love subbing it for sour cream, cream cheese or mayo in recipes. Anything that can use the extra tang and creaminess. Yuuuuuuuum.

Great job so far! I'm in a similar boat. 40 down, 20 more to go! Feel free to add me. :)

French fries are my kryptonite! >_< Also, sushi rolls of the crazy sauced up variety...

This is a good article about why eating way under cals can backfire: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/3047-700-calories-a-day-and-not-losing If you don't eat back your exercise calories, your metabolism will slow down.

At the beginning of my weight loss, when I was magically shrinking (before the plateaus), my closet needed an overhaul anyway. So I just donated everything to good will, or to friends. I didn't really have anything I was emotionally attached to, and I didn't want to keep any "just in case" clothes, because the less excuses…

Wow. I'm sorry your family is being so terrible to you. I agree with what some other's have posted. Cut the toxicity out. You have a supportive husband and it sounds like your mom is coming around. So that's great. Keep the support close and don't give in to the anxiety. Good for you for deleting your sister from your FB…

It's not for everyone, but if you like asian snacks (or sushi) they're great. I snack on seaweed snacks when I have a salty craving. :) The ones from trader joes are 60 calories and 2g carbs per package. They come in wasabi flavor as well. http://www.traderjoes.com/fearless-flyer/article.asp?article_id=408 And if no…

Same here. The random comments of support from the few friends I have really helps. I could use more as well, so adding you. :)

Also, I think running shoes are supposed to be replaced every 300-400 miles. Can probably be extended a couple 100 based on the intensity of use. That might help (including supports), if you've had your shoes for a long while.

Hrmm...tricky... Sprouts raw are crunchy, so personally, I like them in salads, or in wraps and in sandwiches for extra crunch. Or, if you're into sushi, use them in place of rice in maki rolls... Nori (seaweed) wrapped around some sprouts, avocado, fish (or protein of choice), roll it up, slice it up. Or if you need the…

They're not really protein bars, so this may be slightly OT, but I love Larabars. They rarely have more than six ingredients and they're yummy. ie, Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip: Dates, Peanuts, Chocolate Chips (Unsweetened Chocolate, Sugar, Cocoa Butter, Vanilla), Sea Salt - that's it. They are higher in sugar, but if…
