I have the EatSmart Precision GetFit Digital Body Fat Scale, (got it from Amazon, http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004L6NTHU/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00), which seems to be quite accurate. Lots of good reviews.

Visit one of the better sporting goods / recreational equipment outlets in Vancouver and check out the various HRM’s they have. Once you find one or two you feel will serve your needs check reviews and prices on Amazon. You’d be amazed at what those things do nowadays. :happy:

I’m on 40mg a day and so far have been able to lose. Not much at a time but that’s okay with me. One of the things I do is watch my calories, (usually), and if I’ve taken in too many I’ll get on the elliptical, bicycle or take a good long walk and try to work off the excess. Mental health is every bit as important as physical health. If the price of gym membership is within reason and will keep you socialized I’d say “go for it”. You’ll feel a lot better about yourself and that will show in those upcoming job interviews.

I’m a firm believer in not punishing yourself for the sake of a goal. While working towards my weight goal I would still enjoy one of my favorite treats in the evening, chocolate chip ice cream, and as long as I was making headway I didn’t feel the least bit guilty.
