I use a digital scale and I weigh everything I eat, it keeps things honest and accurate! I don't think you are being to careful!! Good Luck with your weight loss journey!

I weigh every day, but only log losses, that way the fluctuations don't make me crazy. The goal is to lose weight and if you know you haven't over eaten there is no need to log the gains...it has to be WATER!! You have to find the method that works for you!

My suggestion would be to make sure you weigh and log everything you put in your mouth. It's 90% diet and 10% exercise! You can do it!! Good Luck and Happy Early Birthday!

Diet is huge...I weigh everything I put in my mouth! I didn't when I first started and when I did...I was shocked! Measuring spoons and cups aren't as accurate as the scale!! It sure made a difference in my weight loss journey!

I set my own calories and keep track of my food! Oh, and the friends are a nice bonus! Other then that...it's no secret! Over eat=gain weight, eat less=weight loss! Some of the strange food bothers me...I don't get the protein shakes for people trying to lose weight!
