  • My motivation for getting started was a cruise, I didn't want to be the "fat chick"...maybe your bridesmaids are your motivation? Not to be the biggest one in the wedding party? It truly is motivating!! and once you get started...you can make it a lifestyle change!! :) Good Luck!
  • Losing the weight is the easy part, getting your head to catch up with your body is something else. A big part of it for me was that I wasn't looking before and now I look everyday! You are simply more aware of your body! Keep up the GREAT work and you will be fine! :)
  • I joined the Title Boxing Club 5 weeks ago and I LOVE it! The 15 minutes of warm up, the 30 minutes of boxing and the 15 minutes of ab/core work is AWESOME!! I can already feel a difference in my body! Enjoy and Good Luck!!

  • I totally disliked exercising, until I went to my first Boxing class! It has EVERYTHING and each class is totally different! Look for a Title Boxing Club in your area...I hate to say it, but it really is a lot of fun and in an hour (just starting out) I can burn over 600 calories (per HRM) Just a suggestion!! Good Luck!
  • Last Monday, I went to my first class at Title Boxing Club...it was HELL! I thought I was dying! I did 6 days in a row and took Sunday off!! I have to say by the 4th day I was feeling a lot better and the pain eased up! I wear a HRM and my class is 15 min. of running/jump rope/suicides squats...etc. 30 min. of hard hitting…
  • I cheated for all the years leading up to my obesity and when I was first starting out, I decided to NOT have a cheat day. Now that I am closer to my ultimate goal...I have cheat days because I feel I've earned them now. Good Luck finding what works for you!

  • We decided to go on a cruise and I was in panic mode, I didn't want to be the "Fat" girl in the group. I joined MFP, bought a food scale and started using my Wii to exercise. It will be a year April 16th and I have lost 56lbs, our cruise was in January and I never felt better about myself!! It's easy now...I don't EVER…
  • I wasn't a fan of avocado, until I stopped eating sour cream. I think it's the creaminess of the avocado! I don't have any recipes, but hang in there...you may develop a taste for it like I have!!

  • I have the biggest loser scale...bought it at Bed, Bath and Beyond for $20. I weigh every I put in my mouth!! Sure has worked for me! ps. It weighs in ounces and grams!
  • My only add is that you said you are measuring your food...a scale is a lot more accurate! I weigh everything I put in my mouth and it made a huge difference!! Example...2 tbls of peanut butter, from a measuring spoon, is A LOT more the 28g on a scale. It may be worth a try!! Best of Luck on your journey!! :glasses:
  • In my opinion...I would change your macros to 40% carbs, 30 protein, 30 fat and up your water intake! I manually changed mine and that is when I really started losing weight!! I'm 5'7" and I started at 205!
  • You have to go into settings and open your diary!!
  • My son is a type 1 diabetic, he was diagnosed 3 years ago this summer at 15 years old. I am so sorry you have to deal with all the issues of diabetes while trying to lose weight. It's a constant struggle for him as well. Praying for a cure!! Hang in there!!
  • You have to be the one to decide you want to lose weight. The thing that helped me the most was weighing my food and drinking water. I lost most of my weight in the first 8 months...these last few are not as easy, but I know I will make it! If you want a friend please feel free to add me! Good Luck on your weight loss…
  • Have you been weighing your food? Monitoring your sodium intake? Those things can really affect your weight! Just a suggestion! Don't give up...it takes time!
  • For me...I have to have protein in the morning or I could eat my hand in an hour or so. 4oz. of cottage cheese and fruit eggs/ham/cheese and a pita eggs/pre-cooked bacon/cheese and pita

I love wearing the skirt because it makes me feel super skinny!! hahaha!! I also love buying and wearing size 8's comfortably!! :)
