thanks, it usually takes me 35 min but after the swim and bike ride I was just worn out. I ran today and was working on speeding up a little. I think I might join some running clinics to improved my skills.

the Iron Girl takes place in several states every year. Its pretty big event. By the way don't be nervous. When the race starts all the nervousness goes out the window. Just have fun, thats what its all about. FUN

i actually like weight training. I have just been so bad with my cardio that I really wanted to focus on building my endurance. I am training for a triathlon for July22nd. I think I will add some strength training. Its what I like and am pretty good at any way.

my stomach is flatter but nothing else has really changed.

so cardio 5 days a week and strength training 2 days a week? 2 full body work outs. I have been doing some ab work and butt and hip work just on the floor with no weights.

i always try to atleast eat my 1200 cal a day. I don't always eat back my cal that I burn off from exercise. I have not started strength training because I wanted to just burn the fat first.

I was doing weight watchers for a while and like this so much better. This is so much easier and healthier. I had no idea how much sugar I was actually taken in while on weight watchers because fruit is 0 points I would eat it all the time. I now know I was taken in way to much. i am not a good runner at all but have worked myself up to doing 3.2 miles in about 30 minutes. I usually stop 1x for less than 1 minute. I have learned that I have to just run at a slower pace in order to run longer.

Good for you for giving back to yourself. I try and make sure I eat 6x a day. This is to keep my metabolism going as fast as it can. if you go more than 3 hours without eating then you start to slow the metabolism. I just make sure I always have snacks with me. I leave for mexico June 4th and would like to be in the 160's range. I am currently 182, so I would need to lose at least 13 pounds but it would be great if I could lose more. I also want to platen to stomach more.

I went on a 17.2 mile bike ride to start preparation for my first triathlon I am doing on July 22nd. It was really tough but I did it and will do it again in about a month.

I eat a 1/4 cup of old fashioned oatmeal every morning. I do not add sugar. I eat mine with a yogurt called Kroger Carb Master.
