Yes, I must admit that those thoughts have come to my mind being an extremely geeked out Lost fan. I mean, 239 people just disappear like that?? And all the strange circumstances surrounding the disappearance...who moved the island?? But then I remember that it's not a tv show, it's real life. And it's just so tragic and…

Thank you! I will try that.

First off, I want to applaud you for being brave and sharing something so personal on the forums. It requires courage to face yourself and to admit that you're not happy. I don't have OCD, but I do understand what you're going through in some ways. I have been diagnosed with severe depression and battled my own demons with…

Hey! I have an F7 HR Monitor and the battery life lasted me over least six months without having to change it. I used it an average of five days a week and even wore it while swimming and the battery life was fantastic. But now that the battery is dead, I've been at a loss for where to get a new one. The place that I got…

Not perfect by any means, but try to log often and support others as often as I can!! I work out regularly and keep an open diary. Feel free to add!!

How often a week are you doing the cardio? You don't want to overdue it at the beginning. Try weight lifting twice a week and up your time to 30 min if you can. But do this gradually. You could try for two sets and twelve reps per exercise. Use light weights and focus on form. This is the most important thing. You could…

I'm 20!! Feel free to add. I'll send a message! :-)

Ok, I'm sorry if I sounded misleading at all!! I guess I meant ADDED sugars. I want to try to stick to natural sugars as my body seems to react negatively to processed foods. That means milk, plain yogurt, fruit, the tiny amounts in cheese and veggies, etc. Whole foods. I'm looking at things like bread, pasta, dressing and…

Yeah, ok, I get what you're saying. But what if you're trying to get off a sugar addiction? Isn't sometimes best to go off cold turkey?

And thanks for all of your replies!! It helps immensely to see what others think of this lifestyle choice as well!

I've gone to my doctor over my skin, joint and weight issues. I've had acne for over ten years. I've worked out consistently almost all of those ten years and didn't eat junk or fast food. I was a kid during some of that time, so I wasn't tracking calories, fat or anything like that but I was eating pretty balanced for…

Thank you! Will have to try that!

I'm going to try roasted chickpeas tonight with a chicken sausage and whole wheat pasta dish. The chickpeas are baked on a cookie sheet with an array of spices. Has anyone done these before?? They seem super yummy and full of protein and fiber! You could try that for a snack to cure the afternoon munchies!

Depression. Emotional/binge eating. Not being raised in an environment to "speak your feelings". Feeling defeated. Quitting. Stopped working out. Big changes in life such as a gazillion moves during childhood and losing friendships. Being homeschooled, then going to high school for a time. It goes on and on. But this year…

Hey! Welcome to Myfp! I used to be really active on here and worked out around 2 hrs a day because I loved it. Now I'm trying to gain my motivation back after a few months of falling off the wagon and start logging again! I plan on working out every day, so I'm pretty active. Would love to give (and get) some support. Feel…

Try Fitness Blender videos on youtube. They're free, full length and set up by a pair of married fitness trainers. They have loads of options- kettle bells, HIIT training, abs, weights, etc. I wear my HR Monitor and always burn lots of calories! I'm short too. ;-)

I love Portsmouth...lived in NH for a while. Live one state over though, in Maine.

I can burn 500 cals alone just from doing 60 min of Jillian Michael's Yoga Meltdown dvd. So, it's really a matter of finding the motivation and drive to force your body to change and work out, even if it's just thirty minutes or an hr a day. It all counts!! Good luck.

Hey! I'm 5'3 and don't have as a big a goal to lose, but my frame is pretty petite and every single pound shows! :grumble: I would like to lose about fifteen pounds. Feel free to add if you want! I'm here for support!

Lil Wayne, Miley Cyrus, Britney Spears, Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, and I don't like how every song from Mumford and Sons sounds exactly the same... Hate me for my choices...it's a free country! (where I live anyway)

Nickelback. Boy bands. Bieber. Nicki Minaj. Most rap and hip hop music. :-p

Great job getting back into it! Shows the right mindset to have and a whole lot of commitment on your part. :-) Feel free to add me if you want some more support!

I did a 60 minute Power Yoga workout on youtube and then 33 minutes of Kettlebells at home. Here's to 2013!! Cheers! :glasses:

EVANGELINE LILY during the Lost days. She was toned, athletic and only two inches taller than me. She is such a natural beauty and I always wanted to resemble her. http://popcultureasylum.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/kate-kate-austin-678432_1125_1500.jpg

I loved going to Arizona! Tucson, Sedona, Red Rock, the Grand Canyon, Tubac... such a beautiful and diverse climate. Looks like you're driving through an old wild west movie sometimes.
