I am on week 3 of Jamie's LiveFit program. I had taken a break from strength training for awhile and I have to say I've seen results already from doing it her way. Before, I did a whole body workout 2 times a week. Like you, I didn't feel like the individual muscle groups got challenged enough. So, I think you have to go…

Thanks for the recipe. Will definitely make them.

I have a herniated disk and several bulging disks in my lower back. My physical therapist says sit-ups and crunches are the worst for an injured or even aggravated back. Google and find stretches for strengthening back and core. Several Pilates and yoga poses work well.

I recommend reading the book, "The Eat Clean Diet Recharged" by Tosca's Reno. It is a very informative book and gives menu ideas. Also, make a list of the things you would like to change about your eating and try to accomplish one at a time. Sometimes jumping all in can get frustrating and seem overwhelming. You also might…

You can buy already seasoned canned black beans ( Cuban style, Jalapeño Lime, etc). For a quick dinner toss the rice, black beans, chicken or turkey sausage together. Add toppings if you wish like cheese, plain Greek yogurt, or sour cream.

There's a YouTube video I watched about a SCD protein shake. The lady in the video added spinach, avocado, beans, and coffee or espresso to her morning smoothie. She also added cinnamon and I believe stevia to sweeten. I use Dymatize Elite Gourmet protein powder. It is gluten free, low in sugar, and tastes great. I have…

Thanks for the encouragement. I am now 3 years into this journey, and still have yet to hit my goal. I have faith that patience and persistence will pay off just as it did for you. Thanks again!

Peanut Butter and Jelly are my favorite. Try them slightly heated in the microwave. It helps with all the chewiness.

Yum! I will definitely have to make this one.

I did really well for April 1st. Only 13 grams of sugar. The biggest splurge for my day was some 86% cacao dark chocolate. I had black beans with both my breakfast and dinner meals. I swear, legumes are magic little pills. They keep me full and satisfied. Side note, I have added digestive enzymes to my daily supplements…

I'm with you! I started cutting down on sugar back on March 13th. I have found my appetite has been suppressed so I don't want to eat " all the time" like before. My desire for sweets has pretty much disappeared. I eat fruits only on the weekends in order to keep my sugar consumption between about 15-20 grams per day…

Bump..this reconfirms that I understood the formula. Thanks for sharing!

Wow! Great accomplishment, thanks for sharing all your details.

I am shooting for 25% carbs and have had success with vegetables and legumes. I cut out fruit during the week and then eat a few servings of fruit over the weekend. What I've noticed the most is that my appetite has stayed surpressed and my cravings for sugary foods has disappeared. I eat beans or lentils every day with…

I can't see your food choices, but if your increased calories are carbs you will have spikes in insulin. Therefore, you will get hungrier. Focus on getting in more protein and healthy fats for those extra calories.
