personally I haven't overcome the lazyness factor yet, I'm still lazy even though I've put my treadmill in front of my tv, its still just more comfortable to sit on the couch than walk on the treadmill while I watch TV... I have set it up that I do spend 30 minutes on the treadmill at least 2 times a week now (was doing…

I wasn't trying to get at "where was God" so much as the fact that bad things happen, and other plagues have happened that noone could predict or control, so you can't say that because you believe in God that zombies couldn't be real... that is all =)
-
damn I guess I smoked with the wrong people... where were those parties at? I might take up smoking again lmao...
-
actually her husband's next deployment MIGHT have something to do with this thread if they are deploying to take action against the zombies!
-
yeah because your God couldn't possibly create anything that would overtake and kill everyone... just like the dinosaurs going extinct or the plagues that have littered our history books... where was your God at then? If he can create plagues that kill millions of people how can you say there is no possibility of zombies?…

I work with a few bicycling enthusiasts, one whom owns the local bike shop...I've heard them tell people before that if you are in pain from riding that its actually worse when you get the big padded seats, they say to stick with smaller seats and ride more often and the pain will go away. One of the guys does 20-30 mile…

My initial goal was to lose about 50ish pounds to put me under 200, I've lost 15 so far so in a little over a month... have 35+ to go to hit my goal. Anyone can add me that wants to, I'm on here every day and will be here til I'm at least under 200 then I might not pay as much attention to the boards but will still be…

101 - 5 = 96 96/101 = 95% so there must be at least one guy on your FL you'd do too?

I change clothes while driving on a regular basis... I'm quite good at it... it is a little more tricky in my car than in my truck however because my truck has lots of free space, I'm kind of limited on space in the car but I still manage

I bought a nice weight lifting machine and treadmill for probably about $800, which will pay for itself pretty quickly two-fold, 1) by the gas/membership costs and 2) because I actually use it at home, whereas I had been paying for a membership and rarely going to the gym...

my failure is that two years ago I lost 30 lbs, went from 240lbs to 210lbs, my goal was 200 lbs... I quit exercising and tracking my food and now two years later I stepped on the scale and was 250lbs and decided I better start tracking my food / working out again... I'm down to 236 now, but just imagine where I could be at…

I'm in! I could go for another 11 lb month - I lost about 14 my first month on MFP but this past week I haven't budged or put on a couple pounds so I'm ready for it to start going down again!

THANK YOU AND THANK YOU AGAIN. 1) Too many people post on here about fats being all bad, you need a certain amount of fat to function, 2) spot on!, 3) you're the first person that I've agreed with on here I think...THANK YOU! Too many people trying to starve themselves on here not realizing that not eating enough calories…

true, but really the message that isn't getting through is that you have to change your lifestyle. You can't just do this for a few months and lose the weight you want then go back to eating whatever you want (which you've pointed out), really I think the message people are trying to get through by saying not to lose…

it isn't the number 1200 that is bad - if thats what it says you need to eat to lose weight then do it, but you should be eating your exercise cals back which it sounds like you should - the bad thing is if people set their goal at 1200 because there is some diet plan that says to eat 1200 calories a day... it doesn't take…
-
as a general practice you should be eating to meet your NET calorie goal (i.e. calories in - calories out = goal)... one day won't have an effect, but continuously eating too few will put you in starvation mode even if you don't find yourself hungry... your net calorie goal already has factored in a calorie deficit for you…
-
I'd agree, the 12 to 18 has no basis behind it (unless its directed at one particular person/weight), if I ate 12 times my weight I'd be eating over 2800 calories a day, 18 times my weight would be over 4200 calories. My basal metabolic rate is between 2000 and 2100 calories a day (how many calories I'd burn laying in bed…
-
I think you're on track here... either tracking calorie intake incorrectly or calorie burn incorrectly... one way or the other your calories being track aren't accurate.
-
oops sorry for the double post my internet freaked out on me... not sure how to delete a post? also response to why work out if you just eat them back - it just speeds up the process, you are better off to eat extra calories and burn them off rather than just put yourself at a calorie defecit and hope that eventually you…

if you are following MFP's guidelines you should be eating your exercise calories... Otherwise you are undereating! MFP does not take in to account your exercise goals when calculating your daily calorie goals, I've been adjusting my exercise goals and it has no impact because of your calorie goal being NET calorie goal…
